WHO BELIEVES THE GOSPEL?

Every day, people send prayer requests to our Ministry. Most want to be healed, but there are requests for other things as well. Whatever the need is, three verses in particular always have my attention, and they are Mark 11:22-24, in which Christ Jesus said, Continue Reading »

I BELIEVE

Many people struggle to believe what is written in the Holy Bible. They ask, How can these things be? There have been many times I myself have asked that very question, but I put that question to bed a long time ago. It’s not necessary for us to know “HOW”, or even “WHY” to every question we have, but only that we can trust God, who DOES know HOW and WHY. Continue Reading »

YOU MUST TAKE IT

YOU MUST TAKE IT
By Jerry Baysinger
I’ve been asked why some are healed, and some, though they profess to believe God’s Word, are not healed. That’s a fair question. Some say it is not always God’s will to heal in this lifetime, that it will take place “later”. And it’s true, not everyone is healed in this lifetime. But it’s also true that not everyone is saved. Can we therefore say it is not God’s will for all to be saved?

WORKING THE WORD

From time to time people ask me “How long do I have to keep speaking God’s Word?” To me, that’s like asking, “How long do I have to keep being blessed?” My answer? “As long as you want the Word to work for you.” As you know, people are largely resistant to change, so that means, if you don’t study your Bible every day, you aren’t very motivated to start doing so. We tend to want to keep doing the same things everyday, but expect a different result.

IT IS SETTLED

We live in a world that is constantly changing. What was “settled” yesterday is subject to change today. Which ever way the wind blows, so goes the opinions of society. What was wrong yesterday is not only right today, it is being promoted. Not only that, what is wrong according to God’s Word is being pushed on us, with people telling us that God is ok with it because He has changed along with our evolving society.

FEAR NEVER COMES HALFWAY

Recently I’ve been ministering to a lot of people with sickness, or who have sick loved ones, and the thing I hear in their voices the most is fear. One thing you can always count on, it that fear never comes halfway. It always comes as a full-on attack. What is fear? In its essence, it is faith that the devil can do more to hurt you than God can do to help you. In other words, lack of trust in God.

FULLY PERSUADED

I like to use the phrase that Jesus used; “IT IS WRITTEN”. It has served me very well these past twenty five years since I was saved. Like many others, I’m no stranger to trials and temptations, and life has not always been easy, BUT, I am fully convinced that God will do EXACTLY what He said in His Word, though that flies in the face of what many say, “Well, you never know what God’s going to do….”

THE WAY IT IS

We’ve all heard the expression, “that’s the way it is”. So whatever it is you’re talking about, you just accept it as that and drop it. That is, unless you’re like I am. I like to study deeper into things and get to the bottom of the matter. Now, while I appreciate the hard work and research of others, there’s still nothing like searching a matter out for yourself, so you are satisfied every stone has been turned over, every “I” dotted and every “t” crossed. Else, how are you going to stand up when the circumstances point contrary to what everyone else believes?

MY LORD AND MY GOD

There comes a time in everyone’s life when they have a “Revelation” moment.  For some it comes early in life, for some it’s later.  But sooner or later we will have one.  Let’s read about the disciple Thomas when he had his awesome revelation moment. I’m going to kind of pick up where I left off last week in John chapter 20:18-29 Continue Reading »

CLEARLY HEARING GOD’S VOICE

Have you ever wondered what God has planned for you in time to come?  I have.  I used to think we would be floating around on some cloud forever playing some stupid harp.  And truthfully, while that might be ok for a while, it’s not something I’d want to do forever and ever, ages without end.  But the Bible reveals the future to us, and so we don’t have to wonder.  It is written in Ephesians 2:1-8: Continue Reading »
