Today I will teach about healing again, it’s my job. The Body of Christ seems to be suffering from an inferiority complex.  For the most part, believers have forgotten what the Lord Jesus taught His disciples.  And most importantly, they have forgotten that THEY are the modern-day disciples of Christ Jesus of Nazareth, meaning the world looks at them and expects them to deliver the same thing that the original disciples were empowered to do.  Assuming you are a believer and follower of Christ Jesus, can you look in the mirror and see yourself as taking the place of one of the original disciples?  Yes, I know the Lord Jesus was here over two thousand years ago, and you weren’t even born yet.  But the Bible says in Hebrews 13:8, Jesus Christ the same yesterday, today, and for ever. That means what He taught His disciples then applies today. Continue Reading »

Today I’d like to crank you up, and help you to come into a better place in the LORD.  It is written in Proverbs 4:5-7:
Pro 4:5  Get wisdom, get understanding: forget it not; neither decline from the words of my mouth.
Pro 4:6  Forsake her not, and she shall preserve thee: love her, and she shall keep thee.
Pro 4:7  Wisdom is the principal thing; therefore get wisdom: and with all thy getting get understanding. Continue Reading »

Today I’d like to write about the subject of healing, after all, this is a healing ministry.  So many people are needing healing, and some have been waiting for years without receiving it. And a lot of the reason people fail to receive is because well-meaning folks tell them, “Well, you know it’s not always God’s will to heal, so don’t get your hopes up too high.”  Did you know that runs absolutely contrary to the written Word of God? Delegated authority is the subject today, and it seems a lot of Christians have a problem with that concept.  We read in Luke chapter 7 of about a Roman Centurion who can teach us a great deal about delegated authority.  His grasp of authority even made the Lord Jesus marvel. Continue Reading »

Today I’d like to talk about faith, because without faith it is impossible to please God.  It is written in James 1:2-4,
Jas 1:2  My brethren, count it all joy when ye fall into divers temptations;
Jas 1:3  Knowing this, that the trying of your faith worketh patience.
Jas 1:4  But let patience have her perfect work, that ye may be perfect and entire, wanting nothing.
Now I know this is EXACTLY the opposite what we feel when we are in the middle of trials, but the Bible tells us that we are to have JOY in trials, because God uses them to strengthen us, not to destroy us.  Trials can make or break us, depending upon whose strength we are trying to get through them with.  Lean on the LORD, and you’ll do fine.  Try to make it on your own, and you may, or may not.  Personally, I don’t like those odds, so depending on the LORD’S strength is my only option. If you ask the average Joe on the street if they believe in God, most will say they do, but some don’t.  If you ask the ones who say they believe IN God if they BELIEVE God, most all of them will say they do.  BUT DO THEY REALLY?  How can you know?  You can start by asking them WHY?  A few will say, “God cannot lie”.  And that is a correct answer, but here’s the test:  when the going gets rough and the devil is causing them all kinds of trouble, what are they doing?
Psalm 23:4 says, Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me. Continue Reading »

While ministering to a lady about healing, the LORD asked me an interesting question that I’d like to pass along to you.  WHEN WILL YESTERDAY HAPPEN?  Well, that’s an easy one to answer: it already happened, it’s over and done, and it won’t be back. Then why do people still wait for yesterday to happen? Continue Reading »

In John chapter five we can read about a man who was an invalid for thirty eight years. Now thirty eight years is a very long time to be suffering.  Over the years I’ve met many people who have been suffering from various infirmities, and there is one thing common among them: they all want to be well.  Now there are some who hold to the belief that they are suffering because God has given them a thorn in the flesh like the Apostle Paul dealt with.  Some actually believe they are sick because it gives glory to God, yet it is those who are constantly running to the doctor trying to get will.  But it seems rather strange to me that if sickness gives glory to God, why did the Lord Jesus go about HEALING the sick?  That would be a good one to explore today. There is a sign in my friend’s home that says “Hope…anything is possible”. And hope is a good thing, because without hope, there is no reason to believe.  But yet the Lord Jesus said in Mark 9:23, If thou canst believe, all things are possible to him that believeth. Indeed, the sign in my friend’s home is accurate, BUT, consider this:  “anything is possible” , which can include “nothing” will happen.  If the Lord Jesus had wanted us to rely on HOPE, He would have said, “If thou canst hope, all things are possible to him that hopeth. But He didn’t, did He? Continue Reading »

We all know that prayer is essential to our relationship with God.  But is God satisfied with any old prayer we choose to throw out there?  Or is there a kind that gets God’s attention?  Nobody wants their prayers to be wasted, least of all God.  He wants to have answers to our prayers, and He tells us exactly how to make that happen.  Would you like to know how?
