It is written in Proverbs 10:12, Hatred stirreth up strifes: but love covereth all sins.

What would it be like if everyone covered everyone else’s sins with love? Instead of finding and revealing everyone’s faults, we would instead ask ourselves, “Would we want others broadcasting OUR faults?” Well of course we wouldn’t, but that doesn’t stop it from happening, does it? What we all need in this “downtime” that much of the world is going through right now is more love and understanding. No matter who you are, you need your sins forgiven. There is NO ONE who can say they have no sin, we are ALL sinners, and as such, we are in need of mercy!

Unless you’ve lived alone in a cave all your life, you’ve probably had opportunity to have your feelings hurt many times over. And one by one, these offences stick to you like scales on a fish, until you’re covered with them, and your heart says, “Nobody will ever hurt me again.” But that’s a lie, because offences come on a daily basis, and some people are “offence magnets”. They just seem to take everything and everyone wrong, until their “armor” is so thick, their heart can no longer be touched. And that’s not what God wants for us.

It is impossible to build a durable house without first laying a solid foundation. Yes, you can build a house on the sand without a foundation, like the Lord Jesus said, but when the rains come, and the floods come, the house will be destroyed. But, he who builds his house on the rock, when the floods come, and they will whether you think so or not, the house will stand. You see, it isn’t a question of whether you will face hard times in your life, but WHEN. The LORD often speaks to me straight out of the Bible, giving me Book, Chapter and Verse. And this week has been no exception. At the time I was working on our motor home and was asking Him about why so much is going wrong in our Country these days, and it took all of about five seconds for me to get His reply. Most of you know I teach on a wide range of subjects. But when it comes right down to it, HEALING is my real gift and calling. Yes, other things are important, like faith or obedience, but the LORD has people who He has called to specialize in those areas. There are those who teach faith almost exclusively, some teach on the blessings, or holiness, and the LORD has put a special anointing on those people to teach in those particular areas. It seems we all have a certain area of anointing, but none of us operate in all the gifts all the time, except Christ Jesus of Nazareth. Time and time again, I’m drawn back to healing. Why? Because there are so many sick people out there, and it isn’t the LORD’S will we be sick, any more than it is the LORD’S will we be living in sin.
