There are those out there feeling hopeless and abandoned, who are children of the Most High, who have been repeatedly asking God to deliver them from whatever trials they are experiencing. I feel the Holy Spirit is asking the following question: WHEN WILL YOU BELIEVE I HAVE ALREADY RESCUED, DELIVERED, AND SAVED YOU FROM THE EVIL ONE?

As I listen to those around me, many speak of problem areas in their lives, and I tell them God has a solution, but most say, “Maybe so, but that’s the truth.” Well, that may be “their reality”, but does that line up with “God’s reality”?

The topic today is the question, Why did Christ Jesus come to earth? The answer has many facets, but they all point to one purpose, stated in 1 John 3:8, He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. When asking the LORD just now what I’m supposed to write, He said to me, “Just in time.” Well, this is a particularly hard letter for me to write today, because we just returned home from a trip where we returned from ministering to a family in North Carolina whose son was in the hospital in ICU. The family had been believing God for six years to heal their son, and there were prayer intercessors all over the country praying for this young man for months around the clock. I made two trips out there and laid hands on him for healing, the first trip three weeks ago saw him rally and improve. But later he developed sepsis in his blood, organ failure and he died a couple days ago in spite of all our prayers. And God has often healed people for me at the last possible moment. But not this time, and He tells me write “JUST IN TIME”? Why, LORD? It makes no sense to me. Continue Reading »

OK, we have asked God to heal, His word says YES,. so what’s the problem? It isn’t with God , it’s with the people. You never see where the disciples taught the church keep on begging and begging and praying and praying, it was done once. Down through the ages doubt and unbelief has entered the teachings of the church and has considerably watered down the power that Jesus granted his disciples. You’ve often heard the saying, “Bad things happen to good people”. Well, bad things happen to everyone. The Lord Jesus said in John 10:10, The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly. You see, friends, the devil is an equal-opportunity destroyer; and he doesn’t discriminate, his favorite thing is to destroy EVERYONE and EVERYTHING. So, that means if you’re here on the earth, guess what? He is out to destroy you. Whether or not he gets away with it is up to YOU! “Really? I’ve often talked about how God protects those that are His, and when you read Psalm 91, it tells us;
Psa 91:1 He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.
Psa 91:2 I will say of the LORD, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in him will I trust.
Psa 91:3 Surely he shall deliver thee from the snare of the fowler, and from the noisome pestilence.

Today’s article is about choices, and how they affect us, both short term, and long term. Why are we involved in spiritual warfare? It’s because Satan is after our soul. If we did not have hope of eternal life, he would not be bothering us so much, for the whole world is under his sway. He doesn’t do battle with those he already has control of; rather, it’s the ones who want to be free that he targets.
