HEADS I WIN, TAILS YOU LOSE

So many Christians live their lives like a coin tossed into the air. Well, what’s it going to be today? Heads, or tails? They often say, “You know how it is, sometimes you win, sometimes you lose. You can’t always be on the mountain, sometimes you gotta go through the valley.” Yeah, you do have to go through the valley to get to the mountain. But you don’t have to take up residence in the valley. Don’t have your mail sent there! Continue Reading »

CONFESSING JESUS BEFORE MEN

It is written in Matthew 10:32-33, “Whosoever therefore shall confess me before men, him will I confess also before my Father which is in heaven. But whosoever shall deny me before men, him will I also deny before my Father which is in heaven.”  Have you ever given much thought to that statement? Continue Reading »

GO FOR THE WARRANTY

I get prayer requests from all over the world from people who are sick. Maybe they are suffering from a life-threatening disease like cancer. But there is another diagnosis by someone of a much higher authority, that I would like to tell you about. His name is Jesus. While I am not one to deny the facts, I find that Jesus, and the power of His name, has the authority to change the facts. The fact is, you may have cancer, or some other disease. But the truth is clearly stated in the Holy Bible, in Isaiah 53:5, “But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon Him; and with His stripes we are healed.” Continue Reading »

GET UP!

In my travels to minister, no matter where I go, it’s the same old thing, “You wouldn’t believe the trials I’m going through right now. Everyone in my family is sick and my wife just lost her job. We can’t seem to make ends meet.” Or maybe it’s “I just don’t understand what’s happening to me, it seems God has turned His back on me. I feel like giving up.” Or, “Why is God letting this happen to me? I thought He loved me.” Continue Reading »

REJOICE!

The last thing a person wants to hear when they’re in the dumps is: REJOICE! When I’ve been “in the valley of the shadow of death” I usually didn’t see anything to rejoice about. When someone needs money, it doesn’t make sense to them to give away what they have, but there are spiritual laws that run absolutely contrary to all natural laws. For example, I have been in hospital waiting rooms with someone whose family member is near death, perhaps a heart attack, or a surgery gone wrong, whatever the reason. You wouldn’t expect to see their loved ones jumping up and down for joy when the doctor comes out and says, “We’ve done all we can, but we don’t think there’s any hope they will pull through.” Rejoice? At a time like this? You gotta be kidding! Continue Reading »

THE EXCLUSIVE VIEW

In due time, Jesus is coming back for His Church. He said it will be spotless and without wrinkle or blemish. I look around me and have to say, How can this be, Lord? We as a body of believers in Christ Jesus seem to spend all our time differing with one another. Not one denomination agrees with another. And not many within a single denomination agree with one another, either. Yet Jesus is coming back for His Church, not our Church. Continue Reading »

DON’T SAVE THE BATTERIES

I love the Word of God. By it we are given knowledge of the will of God, and why Jesus came to the earth in the first place. With all the different teachings coming at us each day, we may lose sight of the real purpose Jesus came. There are fine teachings about healing, prosperity, blessings and many other subjects the Bible talks about out there. But there’s one that is especially near and dear to the Lord’s heart; and that is seeking and saving the lost. Continue Reading »

ONCE UPON A TIME

We all look back at times in our lives and compare them with what is going on now. It’s just the way we’re made. Some look back with gladness, because life is better now than it used to be. Such is the case with me. But others look back and say “once upon a time” things were better. For example; back when I had more money, or, back when I was healthy, or, back when our marriage was working. Or back before “wrinkles” or “gray hair”. Continue Reading »

CHOOSING TO FORGIVE

In today’s world, we have opportunity to be offended every day, many times a day. Why, even before getting to work in the morning, the devil will send someone in your path to offend you, maybe cutting you off in traffic. And of course, your immediate response is “Bless them Lord!”, right? Yeah, right. Maybe “Forgive them Lord, for they know not what they do …..!” is closer? Well, whatever your response, the devil is at work to get you offended. It is written in Matthew 18:7, “Woe unto the world because of offences! For it must needs be that offences come; but woe to that man by whom the offence cometh!” Continue Reading »

TURN OUR NATION BACK TO GOD

There are winds of change blowing in the Spirit realm right now. Changes like we have never known since the Jesus arose from the grave. For over 2000 years, believers have been saying “Jesus is coming soon!” And every generation has believed His return was imminent. But at no time in history has the evidence of His coming been more compelling than now. Just look at the current events! I know we will be busy from here on out preaching “Get ready!” God has told me to start preaching repentance strongly, as He wants to come for His Church, and it isn’t ready. Continue Reading »
