I recently wrote an article called “When sickness comes calling”, and today the LORD gave me a supplement to it. There are some who argue with me that sickness is not caused by sin. But I beg to differ, because before Adam and Eve sinned, THERE WAS NO SICKNESS OR DEATH. Therefore, whether you choose to believe it or not, sin caused sickness and death to come upon all mankind. WHEN SICKNESS COMES CALLING

It is written in James 4:7, Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. Nowhere in that verse does it say that God will run the devil off for you, that is YOUR job. As we submit unto God, we are given the authority to stand against the attacks of satan, but it is up to US to do the resisting, not Him. Well, the devil keeps attacking, hoping to wear you down, which he has succeeded in doing to so many people. Now, if you are continually drawing close to God, His Word says He then draws close to you. But if He seems distant, then it’s because you have stopped seeking Him. At that point, what you really need is a renewal of your walk with Christ Jesus, and as that happens, the health issues will fall away.

I receive many prayer requests for healing. Now, you can have the report of the doctors, but the report of the LORD is that if you believe His Word, you are healed by the stripes of Jesus. HEALING IS EASY

Today I’d like to talk about healing. Why? Because a lot of people need it, and jump through all kinds of hoops trying to be well. They spend vast fortunes on doctors and medicines, and success is measured by the amount spent, if at all. Sometimes I wonder why people stumble at healing so badly, when God made it so simple and easy.

USE YOUR FAITH

Many have asked me, “Why are only some healed?”, and that’s a fair question that is worthy of an answer. There are some healing ministries out there that claim 100% results, but I’m not one of them. In fact, if I find one that can consistently show me 100% healings, then I’m going to follow them myself and learn what I can. But from what others tell me that came to me after not being healed at others, it shows me that none of us are getting 100% results. DRAW NIGH TO GOD

We spend a lot of time praying, asking God to get the devil off our case, to heal us, to fix our finances, to do this or that, when all the time God has already given us the solution to our problems.   His instructions are clear and are not a mystery hidden in layers of dark sayings, yet we tend to ignore them and try to find another way.  Why is that?  It is written in James 4:7-8 :
Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.

WHAT PART OF “ALL” IS MISSING?

Most of you know I teach on a wide range of subjects.  But when it comes right down to it, HEALING is my real gift and calling.  Yes, other things are important, like faith or obedience, but the LORD has people who He has called to specialize in those areas.  There are those who teach faith almost exclusively, some teach on the blessings, or holiness, and the LORD has put a special anointing on those people to teach in those particular areas.  It seems we all have a certain area of anointing, but none of us operate in all the gifts all the time, except Christ Jesus of Nazareth.  Time and time again, I’m drawn back to healing.  Why?  Because there are so many sick people out there, and it isn’t the LORD’S will we be sick, any more than it is the LORD’S will we be living in sin.  The LORD has revealed much to me about healing over the years, for the purpose of showing people the love of God for them.
