LIFE IN THE LUKEWARM LANE
It seems like time is speeding up these days. And today everything moves so fast that the day is over before you know it, and at the end of the day half of the stuff you meant to do is left for another day because there just wasn’t time to do it all. Is it any wonder then why so many say “I’d really like to spend more time with the LORD, but there just aren’t enough hours in the day to get everything done.” In my youth, there was always time to not only get all my work done, but have time to have fun, plus help a neighbor in need if necessary. The last time I checked, there were still 24 hours in a day, but it’s what we do with those 24 hours that makes a difference. Continue Reading »

MOBILE FORTRESS
If you were being attacked, you would feel much safer if you had a fortress around you, right? In days of old, people built massive fortresses to protect them and their loved ones. Some were so large they could encompass an entire community within their walls, and woe to anyone who dared to breach those walls to harm them. But a fortress had one serious drawback: you had to stay there in order to enjoy its protection. We often hear the phrase “Jesus is coming for His church” But which church is He coming back for? The one YOU belong to obviously, right? Well that depends if it is HIS church. How exactly do we determine which church that will be? Will He be coming for the people who attend the church with the highest steeple, or the biggest congregation? IN DUE TIME
Today while seeking the LORD what to write about, I heard in the Spirit, “in due time”. Now, what did He mean by that? Was He telling me He is busy and He will get back to me later about it?
