WHEN THE COMPASS IS BROKEN

How many of you have ever used a compass?  A compass is designed to always tell you which way is north, because one end of the needle is magnetized, and without outside interference from a magnet, it will read correctly.  If you know which way is north, you can plot the direction you wish to go and find your destination.  That is IF you know which way is north.  But suppose the compass is broken?  Then you’re without a clue which way to go. FROM THE LEAST TO THE GREATEST

As I sat down and wrote today’s date, instantly the words came into my spirit, “From the least to the greatest”.  I told my wife, “Boy, that was fast, now I know what to write about today.”  The key verse is found in Jeremiah 31:34, which says:

GOD IS MORE WILLING THAN WE ARE

So many tell me they are waiting on God to do something for them.  For some, it is salvation for a loved one, for another it is lifting a financial burden or a healing, or some other pressing need.  But to each of them, my answer is always the same: You are not waiting for God, God is waiting for YOU.  That statement often rubs people the wrong way, because they may have been suffering for a very long time.  But whether it rubs them the wrong way or not, it is the TRUTH.  You know, telling someone the truth doesn’t always make them happy.  We have our own ways of doing things and it’s hard sometimes to see things any other way than our own way. GOD’S WORD IS NOT WRITTEN TO “OCCUPANT”

When you get your mail, and you have an envelope addressed to you personally, and another one addressed to “Occupant”, which one will you pay more attention to?  Obviously, the one addressed to “Occupant” will likely go into the trash can. Why? Because whoever sent the letter didn’t even go to the trouble to find out who you are, and they don’t care who you are either, for that matter, and whatever they are selling is for THEIR benefit, and not YOURS.  I don’t know about you, but I don’t even waste the time opening them, they go straight to the trash can. IT’S ALL A MATTER OF CHOICE

Each and every day we are presented with choices to make.  Some are routine and have little consequence, like choosing which color clothes to wear today.  Others are life changing and have far-reaching consequences.  It is very important to consider the long term effects of our daily choices.  Many feel the LORD will make their choices for them so it doesn’t matter anyway.  But we are not puppets on strings, for the LORD has given us free choice in every matter of life.  However, we have no choice over the consequences of our choices. LOOKING IN, OR GOING IN?

Not being one to waste time, let me get to the heart of what the LORD is saying to us today: Is the Lord Jesus a mere casual acquaintance, or your most precious relationship? For example, we will say you know about the Queen of England.  But if someone asks her if she knows YOU, will she say “Certainly!  We have spent many wonderful hours together!” Or, will she shake her head and say, “I don’t recall the name”. GOD BLESS AMERICA OR GOD-LESS AMERICA, CHOOSE!

God bless America-or God- less America, which do you want?
I wrote this article below TEN YEARS AGO, in September 2004, and look where we are now!  This prophetic word is coming to pass right before our eyes.  The LORD told me to send it out again today as a warning.  People, everything we thought was just “rumor or scare tactics” ten years ago is happening right now.  If Christians do not take this country back for God, it is all over for America.  In fact, it could already be too late to save our way of life, and it depends on what YOU do with this message, what kind of future YOUR children will have.  Think about it and DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT!!  Don’t just assume “someone else” needs to deal with it.  YOU need to deal with it!  We all need to deal with it, that is, unless you want to live under a dictatorship and lose all your freedom and right to worship God.  Choose!
