A WARNING FROM PAUL

We all love to hear how much God loves us, don’t we? A lot has changed in the way we live our daily lives since the first disciples of Jesus walked the earth. It is written that they didn’t exactly live the “abundant” lives that the preachers preach today. In fact, life was not very pleasant for them at all, according to 1 Corinthians 4:9-14. Jesus talked about those who would be His disciples should take up their cross and follow Him. And obviously, those people did.

WASTE NOT, WANT NOT

“Waste not, want not” is an old proverb first recorded in 1772, and a statement similar to that was recorded earlier in the 1500’s, which is as useful today as it was back then. When we make good use of what we already have available, it keeps us from having lack in that area.

GOD MADE IT EASY

Each day I get phone calls and prayer requests on the internet from people needing healing. For some, all it takes is pointing out what the Word says about healing and they are healed. BAM! REGRET OR RESTORATION?

Every one of us has things in our lives we wish we could go back and change. We can go through our lives living in regret, or we can move on and determine to do things better.  I have met people from both of these categories.  One thing is in common to both groups: one thinks they can’t move on, and the other thinks they can, and do you know what?  They are both right!  The only thing holding us in regret is ourselves.  There is a saying, “experience comes by having done something over and over”.  Wisdom comes when you recognize you’ve made the same mistake over and over, and you quit doing it. HOW TO SUCCEED IN LIFE

No matter where you were born, or when, there’s just something inside you that wants to succeed.   Whether you realize it or not, even your basic instinct to survive tells you that you weren’t created to fail.  A person can face seemingly impossible circumstances, and yet, in the vast majority of times, they will survive, somehow, someway.  Many count that up to “luck”, but it isn’t luck at all; it’s how you were created, purposely by God.
