WHEN WILL YOU BELIEVE?

There are those out there feeling hopeless and abandoned, who are children of the Most High, who have been repeatedly asking God to deliver them from whatever trials they are experiencing. I feel the Holy Spirit is asking the following question: WHEN WILL YOU BELIEVE I HAVE ALREADY RESCUED, DELIVERED, AND SAVED YOU FROM THE EVIL ONE?

SATAN FALLING AS LIGHTNING

We as believers upon Christ Jesus have WAY more authority than we are using, and that’s a sad thing. Here we go around doing our “victory dances” when for the most part, most don’t even exercise authority over even the most normal circumstances in our lives. We moan and groan over the junk the devil throws at us, and never consider the fact in 1 John 4:4, “Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them; because GREATER IS HE THAT IS IN YOU, THAN HE THAT IS IN THE WORLD.”

So, knowing the Greater One is in us, WHY do we let the devil push us around? Well I’ll tell you this, I don’t let him push ME around, and neither should you!

Look at what the Lord Jesus told His followers in Luke 10. This was after He sent the seventy out to preach the Kingdom, and they returned to Him with joy because even the devils were subject to them. Check it out:

16 He that heareth you heareth me; and he that despiseth you despiseth me; and he that despiseth me despiseth him that sent me.
17 And the seventy returned again with joy, saying, Lord, even the devils are subject unto us through thy name.
18 And he said unto them, I beheld Satan as lightning fall from heaven.
19 Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you.
20 Notwithstanding in this rejoice not, that the spirits are subject unto you; but rather rejoice, because your names are written in heaven.

Did you catch what Jesus said in verse 18? Satan got booted out of heaven onto the earth, then to add insult to injury, Jesus gave His followers authority over ALL the power of Satan and his angels. So why do believers fear Satan and his crew? Beats me! It sure isn’t Biblical, I’ll tell you THAT!
I know believers that have been constantly harassed by the devil for years on end, asking God for the grace to endure. They’re praying wrong! We should all be asking for the WISDOM to use our authority to OVERCOME! If you want to allow yourself to be constantly bombarded by the enemy while you duck behind your shield of faith, then that’s YOUR business, but I’m not a ducker, I’m an OVERCOMER! And God has given me enough wisdom to recognize the fact that we have ALREADY been given everything we need to put the devil and his crew under our feet.

I’ll make this short and sweet today: ask the LORD to give YOU wisdom about the authority you already have, and the COURAGE to use it. Today can be the beginning of a much better life for you, if you put this to work. A lot of people talk about warfare. Let me tell you, the war has already been won by Christ Jesus. The dust settled over 2000 years ago, and the Lord Jesus returned to heaven and handed us the victory and He told us to “Occupy till I come”. That means He gave you the same authority on earth that He wields, and to USE that authority to keep His earthly Kingdom in order, just as if He was doing it Himself. That means for all believers to MAINTAIN the victory that Christ Jesus won for us, not to let the devil rise up and take power again.

I hope this jacks you up a notch or two, and puts a gleam in your eye from today forward. Remember, Satan IS a defeated foe, so he is no threat to you if you are in Christ Jesus! And if you AREN’T? Today is your day! Make Christ Jesus the LORD and SAVIOR of your life and start your life as an OVERCOMER! And never let the devil beat you again!

SPRING IS HERE

Springtime is upon us, and it’s my favorite time of the year. It means flowers pushing up out of the ground, trees getting their leaves back, the grass starts growing again, and it’s a time of new hope and renewal. Spring means new life and hope. But what about those who have no hope, or have given up hope that things will ever change and be better? Spring happens each year whether you have hope or not, because God set things up that way.

THE POWER OF GOD UNTO YOU

Have you ever noticed how much time Christians spend asking God to do such-and-such for them?  Have you noticed how many times YOU have asked God to do things for you?  Maybe it’s time to pay better attention to that. Perhaps you haven’t realized how very much power and authority God has already granted unto you. Continue Reading »

GO BIG, BE BOLD!

Today I will teach about healing again, it’s my job. The Body of Christ seems to be suffering from an inferiority complex.  For the most part, believers have forgotten what the Lord Jesus taught His disciples.  And most importantly, they have forgotten that THEY are the modern-day disciples of Christ Jesus of Nazareth, meaning the world looks at them and expects them to deliver the same thing that the original disciples were empowered to do.  Assuming you are a believer and follower of Christ Jesus, can you look in the mirror and see yourself as taking the place of one of the original disciples?  Yes, I know the Lord Jesus was here over two thousand years ago, and you weren’t even born yet.  But the Bible says in Hebrews 13:8, Jesus Christ the same yesterday, today, and for ever. That means what He taught His disciples then applies today. Continue Reading »

DELEGATED AUTHORITY

Delegated authority is the subject today, and it seems a lot of Christians have a problem with that concept.  We read in Luke chapter 7 of about a Roman Centurion who can teach us a great deal about delegated authority.  His grasp of authority even made the Lord Jesus marvel. Continue Reading »

GETTING RESULTS IN HEALING

OK, we have asked God to heal, His word says YES,. so what’s the problem? It isn’t with God , it’s with the people.  You never see where the disciples taught the church keep on begging and begging and praying and praying, it was done once.  Down through the ages doubt and unbelief has entered the teachings of the church and has considerably watered down the power that Jesus granted his disciples.  By the way, if you are a BELIEVER, then YOU are one of those disciples, no matter what age you lived or live in. FROM NOW TILL NEVER

Why do we pray?  What do we hope to accomplish by doing so?  Well, it would seem to me that we are trying to change a circumstance that we otherwise have no control over.  There are things we can do in the physical realm to change some circumstances, but there are others that are totally out of our control that only God can change, so we pray.  It may concern sickness or disease, or family troubles, or legal troubles, or finances; you name it, somebody is not happy about it and wants it changed. But wanting something to be different, and actually seeing it done is two different things, as we all know. Continue Reading »

ACCORDING TO THE POWER THAT WORKS IN YOU

People often ask me, “Why doesn’t the Word of God work today like it used to back in the Bible days?” That’s a fair question, we need to look into that, and today is the day.  First off, we must establish whether or not God has changed, and if the Gospel has changed. If God has changed, if Christ Jesus has changed, if the work of the Holy Spirit has changed, then we need to find out what that change is and how to adapt ourselves to that change. STAY WITH THE PLAN

Many people make plans in the beginning of a new year, hoping to bring about a desired change in their life.  Maybe it’s to save up some money, or to lose some weight, or to make a purchase, but whatever the reason, it usually doesn’t take long for something to happen to disrupt our plans, right?  Maybe your plan for this year is to draw closer to God.  Whatever your desire, do you think the devil is going to look at it and approve it and leave you alone to accomplish it?  Not a chance.  What do you do about it when things start going amiss?  Do you think of giving up when you have more month left at the end of your money, or when the good times leave and your mother-in-law WON’T leave?
