WORDS OF WISDOM

If people would stop looking at their lack, and start doing at what Jesus taught, they would come out of their lack. After all, God is not a man that He should lie. I know He taught Jenny and me to watch our words, in Mark 11:23-24, to be cheerful givers, and to love our neighbor as ourselves. And I know what He taught us works. If it will work for us, it will work for anyone who will use it. Continue Reading »

God bless America-or God- less America?

As we were coming back from Kansas recently, I saw a bumper sticker on a car that said GOD BLESS AMERICA. But the Lord says, Let Me show you what they really want. Continue Reading »

Interview with Sid Roth

On January 23, 2004 Jerry was Sid’s guest on TBN for a live hour and a half show, sharing his testimony and relating of some of the miracles he has witnessed. Sid mentioned on TBN, “I would like to see you, Jerry, equiping believers to move in healing. I mean you are one of the finest teachers I’ve ever heard about healing.  You don’t even plan your messages!  They just….FLOW!”

RIGHT ON TIME

Have you ever wondered why you are living in this particular slot of time? Maybe right now you are wondering if there’s any purpose at all for your life, that you are just “marking time”? My friend, you are not alone. But there is a purpose that God has for you being here. You are not here by accident, but rather by Divine design. The Master of Time is right on time, and so are you. THY FAITH HATH MADE THEE WHOLE

When do we FINALLY come to realize we need faith to please God? Is it after we are up to our armpits in alligators? So many times we try to come up with all these “recipes” or “formulas”, “The 12 steps to getting prayers answered” and we muddy up the waters of the Gospel so much that the “Rivers of living waters” become “Rivers of muddy waters”. So we try everything we can think of, and everything everyone else can think of, to try to get answers to our prayers. And when that doesn’t get the results we need, only then, SOMETIMES we are ready to listen to God. And that’s only because OUR way didn’t work. He’s talking to you right now, you know. Are you listening? Continue Reading »

WHAT IF?

All of us have pondered the question, “What if…?” It may be something as simple as, “What if I turn left at this intersection instead of right?” “What if I take the day off work today; will the world stop if I don’t go in?” Continue Reading »

KEEPING THE MAIN THINGS MAIN

For years, the Lord has reminded me from time to time, “Keep the main thing, the main thing.” And it dawned on me recently, why not write an article to that effect? You know, the Lord gives me lots of things to write about. And if I don’t write them down, they will slip my mind. Once a person asked me, Don’t you ever run out of ideas? Well, as long as God has something to say to His people, I will have something to write. This is somewhat directed to Ministers and Pastors, but it’s also for everyone else who calls Jesus their Lord and Savior. Continue Reading »

WHOM THE SON SETS FREE

In spending quiet time with the Lord, and reading in John 8, He blessed me with something I want to share with you. It seems those times of quiet fellowship with the Lord are hard to come by these days with so much going on, but they are such a time of refreshing, like a visit from a beloved friend, or a cool breeze on a hot day. I hope this refreshes and motivates you today.
I’d like to use for my text, John 8:31-36: Continue Reading »

MAKING TIME FOR GOD

While the Lord never promised us a life without problems, He promised He would never leave or forsake us. That means God wants to spend time with us. And He promises to draw nigh unto us if we will draw nigh unto Him. But people spend most of their lives seeking “things” they think they need to enjoy life, as well as the necessities, or solving problems, and if they have any time “left over” they may use it seeking God. HE WHO OVERCOMES

Working on prayer requests takes up a good deal of my days. Although we’re now a world-wide ministry, we’re not letting our sudden popularity go to our heads. Jenny and I are still “approachable”. For eleven years now we have faithfully ministered to the lost, unsaved, sick, hurting, confused, angry, or whatever, with no support from anyone, and using our own money to do crusades, TV, and extensive travel. As most of you know, you can call me any hour of the day or night, and if I’m awake, I’ll talk to you, or will call you back after I wake up enough to know which end of the phone to talk into. Try that with Benny Hinn or your favorite “big name” minister. Continue Reading »
