Today as I was cleaning out an old toolbox, out of the blue, the Holy Spirit began speaking to me, in such a clear and vivid way, it was shocking. Today, I’d like to talk about blessings. To make it a little easier to understand, let’s picture it like a cake. And while we’re at it, let’s make it a real nice, fancy one with lots of frosting. Of course, each of us has a favorite kind. Yours may be carrot cake, or pineapple upside down cake. Mine happens to be chocolate. At this point, let’s not worry whether it’s fattening or not. This past Sunday we attended our Pastor’s church, being I wasn’t speaking somewhere else. They sang a song that really touched my heart, called “Amazing Love”.

On the surface, what is the difference between “Saints” and “Ain’ts”? Well, very simply put, only this; if you’re “saved”, or “born again”, you’re a Saint. If not, you “Ain’t”. Funny how just one letter can make all the difference. The letter “S” in this case stands for “Salvation”. Just adding “Salvation” to someone who “ain’t” instantly turns them into a “Saint”. Seems like time is really flying, isn’t it? A couple newsletters back I spoke about distractions. We all have them, and mine are just as bothersome as yours, probably. Galatians 6:1-2 says, “Brethren, if a man be overtaken in a fault, ye which are spiritual, restore such an one in the spirit of meekness; considering thyself, lest thou also be tempted. Bear ye one another’s burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ.”
Well, this week, I got a first-hand chance to do just that. Without mentioning a name, I’ll relate some of what happened.
