THE SIN OF COMPROMISE

There are few things I can think of that displease the LORD more than our disobedience, whether that be of outright disrespect for Him, or merely exerting our own will over His by compromising what we know to be His will, but doing our own anyway.  The common excuse I hear is “We are  not under the Law, but under grace.”  True, we have been given grace, AMAZING, UNDESERVED GRACE.  Indeed, we are for the most part a rebellious, stiffnecked people.  And yet, we want God to bless us with abundant health, abundant finances, nice homes, new cars.  The truth is, we have gotten FAR away from the Gospel of the Kingdom of God that Jesus preached, and the disciples after Him preached.  These days, it’s all about pleasing our flesh. BUT I JUST DIDN’T KNOW….

Think on this today:  Ignorance is no excuse for letting the devil walk all over your life. Far too many people have the attitude, “Que Sera, Sera”, “What will be, will be”.  Well, that’s just a lie from the devil. He wants you to think you have no control over what happens to you.  He wants to bring waste, ruin, and destruction into your life, and in the end he wants you to die in your sins.
