Everywhere I go, there are people who don’t believe it is always God’s will to heal, and they believe that way because so many are prayed for to receive their healing, yet they aren’t. And I would admit that is pretty compelling evidence for the naysayers, except I have read the Bible cover to cover several times and find that what God wills, and what people believe are usually two different things. If you ask the average Joe on the street if they believe in God, most will say they do, but some don’t. If you ask the ones who say they believe IN God if they BELIEVE God, most all of them will say they do. BUT DO THEY REALLY? How can you know? You can start by asking them WHY? A few will say, “God cannot lie”. And that is a correct answer, but here’s the test: when the going gets rough and the devil is causing them all kinds of trouble, what are they doing?

We are living in an age where many people no longer care to have God in their thoughts, because mankind has become so “advanced” in science and technology and medicine, many feel they no longer have need of God. It is a very sad thing to have that mindset, in that all of God’s love and blessings are available to all, but many choose to turn Him away. You’ve often heard the saying, “Bad things happen to good people”. Well, bad things happen to everyone. The Lord Jesus said in John 10:10, The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly. You see, friends, the devil is an equal-opportunity destroyer; and he doesn’t discriminate, his favorite thing is to destroy EVERYONE and EVERYTHING. So, that means if you’re here on the earth, guess what? He is out to destroy you. Whether or not he gets away with it is up to YOU! “Really?
