I BELIEVE

There is a sign in my friend’s home that says “Hope…anything is possible”. And hope is a good thing, because without hope, there is no reason to believe.  But yet the Lord Jesus said in Mark 9:23, If thou canst believe, all things are possible to him that believeth. Indeed, the sign in my friend’s home is accurate, BUT, consider this:  “anything is possible” , which can include “nothing” will happen.  If the Lord Jesus had wanted us to rely on HOPE, He would have said, “If thou canst hope, all things are possible to him that hopeth. But He didn’t, did He? Continue Reading »

Healing Testimony Charlotte Scott

Subject: My miracle – Read when time. It’s long.
My sister asked me about my voice, and I wrote this to her today. Wanted to share it with you as well:
It’s a long story about my voice. The bottom line is I AM HEALED. It’s true. It is a miracle!
I went to a healing service in a friend’s home on March 19, the feast of St. Joseph. I really didn’t feel like going. My voice had been tired and weak for several days, and I was tired all over. In fact, I had gotten up and left the house at 7:30 AM to go to the 8:30 AM Mass in Salisbury, as I do most Saturdays. I stayed afterward for the rosary, and then all I wanted to do was go home, lay down on the couch and go to sleep. But I had told my friend Sandie that I would come to the healing service. Jerry Baysinger, a man who has a healing ministry in the south, was coming there to pray over Sandie’s husband, Jim, who has had a terrible health problem the doctors have not been able to identify and resolve for around two years. He has big sores on his hands, arms, legs, head, and they are very painful. Sandie felt that since the healer was coming, she might as well invite others who needed healing, so she invited me. I went asking for healing of my voice and my feet. But as I said, I really didn’t even want to go. But I hung around Salisbury and killed time, and then  left to go to Sandie’s in Princess Anne for the 2:00 PM prayer service, if that’s what it’s called. When I got to Princess Anne, I noticed a billboard I not seen before. It said: HEAL. THRIVE. LIVE. I felt that was a clear sign for me. When I got to Sandie’s, Jerry was there and about ten other people who needed healing. I told Sandie I was too tired to talk, and she led me to the room where we were going to be meeting. I was so tired, I sat down on a couch, put my elbow on the arm of the couch, and propped my head on my hand to hold my head up. Have you ever been that tired??  Anyway, I was alone in the room at that time, and I looked across at the opposite wall, and there was a picture of the Blessed Mother with Jesus, very much like the one in my bedroom. Also, to my right was a beautiful old statue of the Blessed Mother with Jesus. I had never been in this room in Sandie’s house before (because this room has been under repair and off limits for some time). When I saw the picture and the statue, along with thinking about the billboard, I felt that God wanted me here. I knew that if He wanted me here, then He must want to heal me, and I realized that He did want to.
When the meeting started, Jerry gave his testimony of all the things God has healed him of, including serious cancers and other miraculous healings. He said he has seen tens of thousands of people healed since his ministry started after his own healings. He said it is our faith that heals us. We have to believe we are healed. We have to speak it and rebuke the devil and any symptoms that occur after we are healed. Our healing comes from Jesus. “By His stripes, we are healed.”
I understood everything Jerry was saying. I knew he spoke the truth. And I felt God did want to heal me, so I chose to believe in my healing and receive the healing. Jerry prayed over each of us as if he knew what we were struggling with, but he didn’t. The only one he knew about was Jim. He prayed a different prayer for each of us. Most of us cried. You could feel the presence of the Holy Spirit. When he was done, the first thing I noticed was that the tiredness left me completely. I went home believing God had done something miraculous. The next day was Sunday, and as I was going to Mass, I started wondering if I should sing along with the choir. I had not been singing for almost two years because I found that singing one song would set me back for about a month. The doctor had said singing is complicated for the voice, and I should work on getting my voice well first, which never really happened. But on this Sunday, I felt that if I was really healed, perhaps God would want me to sing. I asked Our Lord if He wanted me to sing a song (hymn), to have the choir do one of my favorites. Then I forgot about that thought and went on to Mass and did not sing along during Mass as usual. Then at the last song when I heard the organist play the introduction, I knew it was a song I really liked (although it was not one of the two favorites I had in mind when I asked Our Lord about singing.) But I knew I really liked the song, and I was led to sing it and was able to. What stood out to me was a line in the song that says, “You are Mine,” the same words the Lord had spoken to me twice in a message He gave me the Wednesday before while I was at Adoration. I knew that song was from Him and that I was to sing it. And guess what? I have been singing EVERY DAY since then. I have also been doing vocal warm-ups and exercises (which used to make it worse) in order to strengthen my vocal chords and am having no problems whatever. I believe I am completely healed, and because of the inactivity, I need to exercise to make my vocal chords stronger. It’s like muscles that need strengthened, but are healthy and able to be used. I can tell my voice is getting stronger every day, and I enjoy singing again. I also enjoy being able to talk without counting the words as I have had to do in the past. I know we all need to be moderate, but I really am becoming normal again after two years of trying to find a medical solution. I had taken steroids given by the physician at the Urgent Care Center, went to an ENT who sent me to a Speech Therapist. That didn’t help, so I went back to the ENT, who did surgery last March. I have done voice rest for weeks/months. None of that seemed to help except to allow me to function at 30% of normal. Now I am on my way to 100% normal again. I feel great! I praise God! He still does miracles today, if we will believe.
As for my feet, I started walking again for exercise, and I think I overdid it, so I am having to give that more time. I still believe my feet are healed, and I am rebuking all symptoms, and will be walking for exercise again soon, but this time in moderation to give myself a chance to build up the capacity to walk for exercise. Jim’s hands are looking better, and he felt he was healed and tried to do too much (like me), and had a little setback of sorts, but he is still believing God for his healing too. I don’t know about the others. My sense at the time was that we all received a healing.
I told you it was a long story. And a great one!

Hello Peter,Let’s pray for your daughter right now.Father God in heaven, Holy is Your Name.  Father, thank You for the blood of Christ Jesus of Nazareth, Y’shua Messiah, that was shed for the remission of our sins, and for the stripes the Lord Jesus took upon His own body for our healing.  Father, we worship You, for You are worthy of all glory, honor, praise, might, power, dominion and wisdom forever, ages without end, amen.  Father God, as a present-day disciple of Christ Jesus, Y’shua Messiah, in His name and by the authority granted me by virtue of faith in His name, and in obedience to Matthew 10:8, I send Your Word and rebuke the fever from Peter’s daughter, and command every unclean spirit to loose her NOW, hurt her no more, and enter therein NO MORE!  LORD, I send Your Word and heal Peter’s daughter NOW, that You may be glorified by the word of her testimony and by the word of her parent’s testimony.  Now Father God, may Your name be glorified, in the name of Christ Jesus of Nazareth, Y’shua Messiah, amen.

BLAMELESS, NOT SINLESS

Many Christians carry around a lot of guilt that keeps them from developing into the overcomers that our heavenly Father wants us to become.  So many say, “I’m just a sinner saved by grace.” But is that how God sees us?  Does He still see us as lower than a snake’s belly after all that Christ Jesus did for us on the cross?  We need to ask ourselves those questions.

I’d have to ask you what your idea of a sinner is.  Now, if I’m a mechanic, that means I do mechanical work habitually, on purpose, as my way of life, whether for a living or as a hobby.  If’ I’m a woodworker, then I work with wood daily, habitually, on purpose.  That means a sinner is someone who sins habitually, on purpose, as a way of life, right?  So, are YOU a sinner?  Only you can answer that.  But to say you’re a sinner saved by grace is mis-identifying yourself.

If you have made Christ Jesus of Nazareth your LORD and SAVIOR, then you WERE a sinner saved by grace. But you’re not a sinner anymore, that was the OLD you.  It is written in 2 Corinthians 5:17,  Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new. Galatians 6:15 says, For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision availeth any thing, nor uncircumcision, but a new creature.

Can you see then how important it is to differentiate between the “old” you before Christ, and the “new” you AFTER Christ?  If you can’t see yourself as a new creation in Christ Jesus, you will be forever stuck in your past, living your life as a sinner instead of a Saint. Whoa, now you’re calling me a Saint, Brother Jerry? Well, yes; you’re either a saint, or you ain’t.  What’s the difference?  Just one letter:  “S”, which stands for Salvation. Without salvation, you’re still a sinner, and you ain’t a saint, excuse my English there, but you get the point.

Our heavenly Father accepted the sacrifice of Christ Jesus as the FULL and COMPLETE payment for the sins of all who come to Christ Jesus to be saved.  Does that mean we never sin again?  No, it doesn’t, but it doesn’t become a habit, either.  Suppose I’m a mechanic, and that means I fix broken cars, trucks, tractors, or whatever.  Suppose I work on a car one day and I can’t fix it, does that mean I’m no longer a mechanic?  No, that just means there was one that I purposed to fix, but just couldn’t get it right.  That doesn’t mean it’s my intention to mess up EVERY job.  In reality, a few get messed up, no matter how skillful I may be.

Let’s say you’re a circus performer who walks a tight wire.  It’s your intention to walk safely from one end of the wire to the other while it’s stretched above the ground.  To be sure, it is NOT your intention to fall from it.  BUT, just in case you do, there’s a safety net below to catch you should you have an accident. That safety net represents grace.  You’ve heard this before from me: grace is a safety net, not a trampoline.  Now, if you are using God’s grace for a trampoline, then I’d have to say, yes, you’re a sinner, but not a sinner saved by grace. You’d be just a plain old, unrepentant sinner, lost, with no hope for eternal life.
But let’s say you HAVE asked Christ Jesus to forgive your sins.  Well then, He HAS!  And on occasion you may mess up, but it isn’t your intention to mess up.  It is written in 1 John 2:1-5:

1Jn 2:1  My little children, these things write I unto you, that ye sin not. And if any man sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous:
1Jn 2:2  And he is the propitiation for our sins: and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world.
1Jn 2:3  And hereby we do know that we know him, if we keep his commandments.
1Jn 2:4  He that saith, I know him, and keepeth not his commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him.
1Jn 2:5  But whoso keepeth his word, in him verily is the love of God perfected: hereby know we that we are in him.

Here’s a key in verse one that we don’t want to miss; the word AND.  And if any man sin, we have a lawyer with the Father, Christ Jesus.  Because of the sacrifice, death, burial and most importantly, the RESURRECTION of Christ Jesus, the sin debt is paid in full, nothing lacking, for ALL who belong to Him.  What does that mean?  That means sin is no longer accounted against those who belong to Christ Jesus.  It doesn’t mean you will never accidently sin, it just means you are BLAMELESS,  that no sin is accounted unto you.  So that means you’re not a sinner anymore.  Yes, you WERE a sinner, but not now.  Before, you were guilty of sin.  Now, all your guilt and blame was placed upon Christ Jesus, He became your substitute, and that leaves you without sin, and without blame, and therefore, you will not face the penalty for sin, which is eternal death.  Instead, you receive the free gift of salvation through Christ Jesus.  That is, if you do not go back into making sin your profession as you did before.  There is a reason you are a new creature, did you know that?  The old creature cannot inherit eternal life, only the new you can.

When you read 1 John 2:1-5 you are getting the rules for salvation.  You can’t go back and live in sin and still be saved, the Bible says so.  I don’t care what so-and-so tells you, the only way to salvation is through Christ Jesus, and it’s His way or no way.  He doesn’t care what is “politically correct”, no, not one bit.  He doesn’t care if you think something is right or wrong, because HE decides what is right or wrong, and no matter how we may try to change His mind, we won’t do it.

And if we are trying to tell God we are still sinners after He has declared we are blameless, well, good luck with that, but I can tell you right now, that won’t fly with God.  If Christ Jesus is your LORD and SAVIOR, then you ARE a new creation, and you are no longer a sinner, but a saint.  And that ain’t going to change as long as you are in Christ Jesus, period.  Will you go through life sinless?  Not likely, though Jesus did.  But you CAN go through life BLAMELESS, and that is what counts when you stand before the judgment seat of Christ Jesus.

And if by some chance you don’t know Christ Jesus as your Lord and Savior yet, don’t waste another minute living as a sinner.  Your new life awaits you as a saint. Get to it NOW!  Life is so good when you’re blameless.

THANKSGIVING ALL YEAR LONG

We are fast approaching the yearly day of Thanksgiving, the day on which we are supposed to be thankful for all the blessings God has given us.  We sit down at the table with family and friends and partake of a huge nice meal, symbolic of all the blessings we have been given, sometimes followed by a nap from having a full belly. Everyone is thankful, that is, except the Thanksgiving turkey, who was sacrificed so that we might feast. Continue Reading »

WHEN YE PRAY…..BELIEVE !!!

We all know that prayer is essential to our relationship with God.  But is God satisfied with any old prayer we choose to throw out there?  Or is there a kind that gets God’s attention?  Nobody wants their prayers to be wasted, least of all God.  He wants to have answers to our prayers, and He tells us exactly how to make that happen.  Would you like to know how?
