AND HE HEALED THEM ALL

 

Having been in the healing ministry for nearly 29 years now, I’ve heard every imaginable excuse why people can’t be healed.  Sometimes I think people really DON’T want to be healed, but just say they do.  Maybe they like the sympathy and attention they get.  But not me, I like being healed and healthy.  That’s not to say I haven’t had attacks down through the years, but like it is written in Luke 6:17-19, HE HEALED THEM ALL.  EVERY ONE OF THEM. YOU MUST TAKE IT

I’ve been asked why some are healed, and some, though they profess to believe God’s Word, are not healed. That’s a fair question. Some say it is not always God’s will to heal in this lifetime, that it will take place “later”. And it’s true, not everyone is healed in this lifetime. But it’s also true that not everyone is saved. Can we therefore say it is not God’s will for all to be saved?

SLOW TO BELIEVE

It seems people who read the Bible are among the slowest to believe all that is written therein. That’s why there is so much division in the Body of Christ. If we would all simply BELIEVE what is written, and act upon it, most of this world would already be won to the LORD, but no, we pick and choose what we want to believe. One believes in salvation, but not healing, another believes in healing, but not speaking in tongues, another believes they don’t know WHAT to believe. GOD PRETENDED

As children, no doubt, we all pretended to be cowboys, or Indians, or princes or princesses, or policemen or firemen or something else. We were so much into our role playing that we thought we were really all of those things, so we know what it’s like. But do you know what? There are two words that you will NEVER find together in the Bible, and that is “GOD” and “PRETENDED”.

FULLY PERSUADED

I like to use the phrase that Jesus used; “IT IS WRITTEN”. It has served me very well these past twenty five years since I was saved. Like many others, I’m no stranger to trials and temptations, and life has not always been easy, BUT, I am fully convinced that God will do EXACTLY what He said in His Word, though that flies in the face of what many say, “Well, you never know what God’s going to do….”

CONSIDER HIM

Today I’d like to start with an encouraging scripture, found in Hebrews 12:1-3,
1  Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us,
2  Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.

WISDOM

The book of Proverbs is a book of wisdom, and there is a proverb for each day of the month.  I like to read a proverb each night before going to bed and fall asleep meditating on it. The world teaches us to seek money and possessions, but the Bible tells us to seek wisdom.  Who is the source of all wisdom?  That has to be God, and He wants to impart wisdom to us. I’ve often said, wisdom enables us to recognize a mistake when we make it again.  And the biggest mistake I see people make is not believing what is written in the Bible. Continue Reading »
