ENOUGH IS ENOUGH, ALREADY!

Proverbs 6:30-31 says, “Men do not despise a thief, if he steal to satisfy his soul when he is hungry, but if he be found, he shall restore sevenfold; he shall give all the substance of his house.”
If the thief has stolen your job, stolen your peace, stolen your joy, stolen favor from you in the eyes of your family and friends, and he is stealing your money, then welcome to the club. You aren’t alone.

THE LEANING TOWER OF PISA

 While I was ministering at a church in Nigeria, they had their fourth anniversary celebration, and they had a big cake that looked like a church building with a big, tall steeple. Now, because there are a lot of bugs there, they had a cover over the cake. The heat, combined with the weight of the cover over the cake, made the steeple lean over till it looked like the Leaning Tower of Pisa. Finally, today, God wanted me to write about it. ARE MY TRIALS REALLY THE WILL OF GOD?

You may be wondering today, are all of these trials really God’s will for me? Paul, who wrote much of the New Testament, suffered many trials. And so did Job. Because Job continually refused to “curse God and die”, and kept his heart and words right before the Lord, he was not only restored, but was given “double for his trouble”, while God sternly scolded those who accused Job. By the way, who asked for the privilege of afflicting Job? Was it God? NOOOOOOO! It was the DEVIL! But, God allowed it to show the faithfulness of Job, and to bless him even more. Continue Reading »
