NO BOUNDARIES

If you’re buying a piece of property, the first thing you need is a survey to find out what you are buying, right? You want to know what belongs to you, and what does not. After all, you don’t want to build your dream home in part of your neighbor’s yard. But yet, that is what many Christians are trying to do. Can you imagine the mess you would have after getting your home built and moving into it, when the neighbor came over and said that half of your home is in his yard? Continue Reading »

IS SICKNESS FOR YOUR GREATER GOOD?

I recently received a letter from a lady wanting biblical information concerning healing, for she had been told that some people die or remain sick “for their greater good”, and that she didn’t agree with that. Neither does the Holy Bible. Continue Reading »

DOING WHAT REALLY MATTERS

Jenny and I hope this finds you enjoying life, in abundance, to the full, till it overflows, according to what Jesus said in John 10:10. He said, “The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy, but I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly. Yes, God does place importance on you having an abundant life, abundant in every area, spiritually, in peace, and joy, in health, financially fit and able to live a happy life. That’s His goal for you. He created Adam and Eve to have a blessed life. His purpose for mankind has never changed. But the devil wants you to be too busy to enjoy it. Continue Reading »

TAKING OUT THE TRASH

The Lord has really been dealing with me about the state of the church at large, and to focus on the church at large we have to look at the individuals who make up the body of Christ. This began a couple months or so ago when the Lord said, “I want to come back for My church, and they aren’t ready!” Continue Reading »

WHY WAIT (2)

Hopefully, this article finds you abundantly blessed. But if it doesn’t, read on. You might just find out why. Ah, yes, I said the magic words. Everyone is interested in how to be abundantly blessed. My joy in being a minister is helping Christians find what they have in common, and building on those strengths, to draw the body of Christ together, as well as teaching them what belongs to them as a member of the family of God. As you know, it’s always my desire to build up, not tear down. However, I find it occasionally necessary to put some of our “sacred cows” on the altar, thereby tearing down false beliefs that hinder people from being blessed. Continue Reading »

REAL LIFE IS AHEAD

There is a snare the devil catches us in often and Paul addressed it in Philippians 3:13-14. He wrote,”Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before. I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.”
You see, so many live in failure, unable to break out of their old life, and they never achieve the life that Jesus died to make possible for them. Why is that? They look at their past mistakes and judge their future by them. “Once a failure, always a failure”. Or so the devil would have them believe.

DOING YOUR BEST

With so many asking for prayer for prosperity these days, I feel led to write on the subject. Many ministries do nothing but preach about prosperity, and yes, God’s people need it. But it’s easy to miss God and get in the ditch with nothing but prosperity teaching. Prosperity involves so much more than just money, although money seems to be the focus of most people these days. True prosperity is never lacking what you need when you need it. Many ask for prayer to be debt free. Well, you can look at someone who is homeless wandering the streets, and chances are, they are debt-free. But they are still homeless and broke, so even though debt-free is important, it isn’t the most important, apparently. It should be our goal to be debt-free, though, so we can serve God without encumbrances. Continue Reading »

ZAP ‘EM GOOD!

The Lord spoke something very interesting into my spirit. He showed me the picture of a car battery with a positive and a negative post. If the battery is connected by both posts, and a load or demand is put upon the circuit, then and only then, current flows. Current is the movement of electrons along a path. If you disconnect either post, or interrupt the path, there can be no flow.
Now, picture yourself being that battery, full of the power of God. You may not like the load of the negative drawing, demanding power from you. But the negative post must be connected to you if you want to see the Power of God move through you. Otherwise, you are merely a storage battery that does not power anything. Continue Reading »

A-BOMS

Yesterday I was writing in my journal with one of my favorite fountain pens. And it got me to thinking. When you write something with a fountain pen, you have to think about what you’re doing, because once it’s written, it’s there for good. I think some things are better left unchanged. However, today the sign of the times is “change everything” and not much is sacred. Continue Reading »

GOD HAS YOU COVERED

Psalm 91 is just one of the many things we pray over all our partners each day. So many things the Lord has given us in His word express His great love for us, and of course, none more so than the good news that over 2000 years ago, a Savior was born unto us, the Lord Jesus. Now, that wasn’t just a snap decision the Father made. No, it was planned even before the foundation of the world. Even before sin invaded the Garden of Eden and brought death into the world, He knew we were going to need a Savior, and provided for our need, even before we knew it was there. Isn’t that just like a loving Father? Continue Reading »
