GOD’S TENDER MERCIES

  Recently I went to a motorcycle rally near Savannah Tennessee to minister.  There were over 400 in attendance, and during the event I got to speak with many , if not most of them, and then did the Sunday morning devotional service before everyone started home. It’s surprising how easy it is to tell people about Jesus if we just take the time to listen to people first.  In just 5 minutes of really listening, you can learn what someone is like, their needs, who or what they love, and where they stand with God. The following is rated “SW” – STRONG WORD

The Gospel is supposed to convict the sinner to repent and fall on their face and glorify God. I don’t see a lot of that in church. The Word is supposed to heal and restore. I don’t see a lot of that in church either. I see people “healed” but nothing changes. They come to church in a wheelchair, get “healed” and wheeled back out. Week after week, month after month. That’s not what I see in the Bible. So therefore, we must not be hearing what Jesus taught, but “another gospel” that Paul warned against. Continue Reading »

FAITH WILL WORK FOR YOU

Everything in the Kingdom of God gets done by faith, and when we pray the Lord’s Prayer, we are praying “Your will be done on earth, as it is in heaven”. Have you ever given much thought to that? By faith, and by His word, God created this whole universe. Every tree, every blade of grass, flower, animal, bird, and person exists only because God spoke them into existence. IT’S ALL ABOUT OBEDIENCE

The other day I was praising God for bringing us out. He said, “Jerry, it’s all about obedience”. He reminded me of something He prompted me to do last month, and I did it. Nothing major, in fact, most people would have probably blew it off and ignored it. He told me to look up the password to our ministry bank account in the Strong’s dictionary and go to the bank and change it. In Hebrew, that password turned out to mean “waste, desolation, and destruction”. Every time I used the account, I was speaking destruction to it! SHOOTING BLANKS

When someone hears the Gospel message preaching salvation by the blood of Jesus Christ, it is as if a bullet is fired from heaven. Each and every man, woman, and child is a target. That message is aimed at the heart of everyone who hears it, young or old, rich or poor, male or female, no matter what their social status is, or where they live. USING YOUR AUTHORITY

THE FAVOR OF GOD

This time, I’d like to write about the FAVOR OF GOD. All of us could use some of that. Well, favor has been all over Jenny and me this year. Our Pastor prophesied some time back that God was giving us supernatural favor. And I’ve been seeing it. He said if one word could describe our ministry, it would be favor. Supernatural favor.
