GOD IS FAITHFUL

Let me start off by asking you a question:  do you know what trials are?  You may think, THAT’S a dumb question, of course I know what trials are, seems that’s all I have these days.  Perhaps I can help you look at trials in another light, sort of like the half-full or half-empty glass, depending which way you see things.  Nobody wakes up in the morning asking God to give them trials.  Ever wonder why that is?  As near as I can gather, we all like to be comfortable.  However, trials are merely an opportunity for God to show Himself faithful to you, and if you look at it like that, you’re already on your way to victory. JESUS PRAYED FOR ME

All of us have faced trials in our lives, no matter where you live or what your upbringing.  And as the days we live in grow more evil by the day, often we find ourselves asking others to pray for us.  And that’s good!  None of us are an island to ourselves, but we are interconnected, both with God, and to our brothers and sisters in Christ Jesus.  There’s an old saying: a chain is only as strong as its weakest link.  Sometimes our particular link in the chain of things is not as strong as we would like to think it is, and it’s nice to know the Lord Jesus is interceding to His heavenly Father for us. SIN IS STILL SIN

Before getting up this morning I was laying there thinking about how God has made the forgiveness of sin available to us by the blood of Christ Jesus.  What a wonderful and generous offering from our Creator.  And the more I thought about it, the Lord impressed me with a few things that I’d like to share with you. REPENT?? WHY ME?

The Bible talks of repentance. What exactly does it mean to repent, and why do I need to do it?  What’s so important about repentance?  Can’t I just ask Jesus to forgive me, and go on?  After all, God gives us grace, so what’s to repent of?  Continue Reading »

TO EVERY MAN HIS WORK

It is written in Mark 13:34-37, For the son of man is as a man taking a far journey, who left his house, and gave authority to his servants, and to every man his work, and commanded the porter to watch.  Watch ye therefore: for ye know not when the master of the house cometh, at even, or at midnight, or at the cockcrowing, or in the morning.  Lest coming suddenly he find you sleeping.  And what I say unto you I say unto all, watch. GOD HAS YOU COVERED

Even from children, we have been told that God watches over us, and is aware of everything in our lives.  Recent pictures that have been sent to earth from satellites in deep space makes it even more amazing how God could be aware of us, a tiny orb in space among billions.  Pictures taken from the Hubble telescope showed galaxies so far away that no telescope on earth can see them.  And the farther out we see, the more galaxies there are, with no end in sight.  I’ve often wondered, is there a fence at the end of the universe? HEAL THE SICK

The Lord Jesus called me to a healing ministry in 1993. Through the years I’ve had opportunity to speak to many ministers and read many books about healing, but most spoke about praying for the sick, and it didn’t seem to produce a great percentage of results.  It made me wonder why all these prayers weren’t getting the sick healed. AN ARMY OF ONE

We’ve all seen the television advertisements how you can join the Army and be an Army of one.  And that’s fine, until you are trapped in the middle of enemy fire out in a deserted place all alone, about to run out of ammo.  Then what are you going to do? Continue Reading »

KING OF THE MOUNTAIN

Do you remember a childhood game called “King of the mountain”?  When I was a kid, one of the neighbors had a pile of dirt in their yard that had been there a long times and several of us boys would gather there to play King of the Mountain.  All of us would climb toward the top of the pile, and try to push all the others off, until only one person stood at the top.  Every time someone would get close to the top, the one occupying the “Throne” would throw him off.  Continue Reading »

GOD SUPPLIES OUR NEEDS

So often we hear the words, “God will take care of your needs”, that it seemed a good subject to explore.  It is written in Philippians 4:19, But my God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus.  Continue Reading »
