Assuming that’s YOU, we are seeing many discomforting things in the news daily, wars, rumors of wars, earthquakes in divers places, the things Jesus said would happen in the last days. Governments threatening one another, peace taken from the earth, pestilence, disasters abounding, and that’s the good news, and it goes downhill from there. Now is not the time for neglecting your relationship with God, letting the affairs of the world grab and hold your attention. Rather, now is the time to draw closer to God than you ever have. And if all the bad stuff doesn’t happen in your lifetime? What have you lost? Nothing at all, but you’ve gained peace of mind, and your place in the Kingdom of God. If you don’t know Christ Jesus as LORD and Savior of your life right now, then stop putting it off! You and I have no guarantee of our next heartbeat, and as you know, you are only a heartbeat away from eternity, so get with it! Make sure you’re right with God!
Once you’ve done that, don’t just sit there resting on your laurels, get to work getting the Word of God in your heart. Think about it, what would you do if the Government made everyone turn in their Bibles to be burned? It’s coming to that you know, as in this country, atheists and politicians are trying to remove the Word of God from every part of our society, and God’s people are not being very vocal about preventing it from happening. And this isn’t just “scare talk”, you’re seeing it happen right before your very eyes! It’s just a matter of time before they will be after our Bibles. It’s happened in other parts of the world, what makes you think it can’t happen in the USA? But if you have the Word of God in you, it can’t be taken from you. It’s not enough just to memorize scripture, you need to live the Word, too.
God’s eyes are going about throughout the world determining who are His and who are not. This is preparation time, friends, to prepare yourself for eternity. And it’s a time to warn others to turn to God while they still can. I’m doing what I can, but I could sure use lots of help; YOUR help. There are people YOU can minister the Gospel of Jesus Christ to that I will never meet in my lifetime, people who God will place in YOUR path who will listen to YOU. Don’t fail to tell them about Jesus, as the salvation of their soul may depend upon you doing YOUR part. After all, it isn’t all about YOU, it’s also about THEM. If you don’t feel bold enough to tell others about Jesus, then at least give them our website and I’ll try to help them. Proverbs 11:30 says,The fruit of the righteous is a tree of life; and he that winneth souls is wise.
And this is a word to the “wise”, meaning “YOU”
