DISCERNING A COUNTERFEIT GOSPEL

Before every genuine move of God there is always a counterfeit, and maybe several of them, which the devil uses to deceive people from the true Gospel of Christ Jesus.  Early on Jude warned in verses 3-5;
Jud 1:3  Beloved, when I gave all diligence to write unto you of the common salvation, it was needful for me to write unto you, and exhort you that ye should earnestly contend for the faith which was once delivered unto the saints.
Jud 1:4  For there are certain men crept in unawares, who were before of old ordained to this condemnation, ungodly men, turning the grace of our God into lasciviousness, and denying the only Lord God, and our Lord Jesus Christ.
Jud 1:5  I will therefore put you in remembrance, though ye once knew this, how that the Lord, having saved the people out of the land of Egypt, afterward destroyed them that believed not. Continue Reading »

MERCY MERCY!

Have you ever been in trouble?  What did you want, but out of the trouble, and quickly.  And so it is with anyone. Peace and tranquility should be our “default” condition, however, the devil stirs trouble against everyone, for he is an equal opportunity troublemaker. WHY HEALING?

Some have asked, Jerry, why do you concentrate so much on the ministry of healing? Of course it would be easy to say Why NOT?, but you deserve a better answer than that.  Actually, it’s my calling.  Now I know there is a LOT more about the Gospel of Jesus Christ than healing, such as preparing for the Kingdom of God, repentance from sin, and the baptism of the Holy Spirit.  But behind it all is something we often overlook, and that is the compassion of God. MOMENT BY MOMENT

Have you given much thought lately about your walk with God, or the lack thereof?  We are all creatures of habit, and as many of you know, old habits are hard to break.  Hard, but not impossible, because with enough desire we can change old habits that have held us back in the past, and create good ones.  Many have told me they would like to have more time to spend with God, but just can’t seem to squeeze any more into their day.  I have the answer for them!  Instead of squeezing any more INTO their day, they need to squeeze some things OUT of their day. BELIEVING UNTO MANIFESTATION

In the course of over twenty years in ministry, there has been one thing that has been said to me over and over: I THOUGHT I was believing God, but I guess I wasn’t.  That leads me to ask, What convinced you that you weren’t actually believing? DON’T LET IT SLIP

Often we let the affairs and circumstances of this world cause us to forget a few things which we ought to be remembering.  If we spend time daily searching the Holy Bible, we will see the LORD has our good at heart; that He is for us and not against us.  But there is one who IS against us, and his name is Satan.  He is against all that is good, and he knows he cannot touch or hurt God. OBEDIENCE IS BETTER THAN SACRIFICE

You’d better go grab yourself something to drink and find a comfortable chair, as I have a lot to say today that the LORD has put on my heart to deal with.  This may come as a shock to you, but God doesn’t need your money.  You can’t go to the hardware store and buy a ladder tall enough to get you to heaven to hand God your offering.  And the last time I checked, God has not come down and taken money from the hands of any who offered up to Him. OVERCOMING THE LIES OF THE DEVIL

Many people ask God to heal them, but the devil has them convinced that even though Jesus healed all the sick who came to Him when He was on the earth, doesn’t mean He will heal the sick today. He will tell you, “Yes, Jesus healed the sick THEN to prove He was the Son of God, but that was THEN, and this is NOW.  He doesn’t have to do that anymore.”  Let me help you here…It is written in Hebrews 13:8-9,
Heb 13:8  Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever.
