There is a way of good and truth, and there is the other way. Everyone chooses one of those paths, and it is a free choice, nobody can say the choice was forced upon them. It is written in Proverbs 4:14-18,

14 Enter not into the path of the wicked, and go not in the way of evil men.
15 Avoid it, pass not by it, turn from it, and pass away.
16 For they sleep not, except they have done mischief; and their sleep is taken away, unless they cause some to fall.
17 For they eat the bread of wickedness, and drink the wine of violence.

I think it’s safe to say that for the time being, evil and wicked men and women are getting the upper hand, but I’m not worried about it at all. You see, they think evil is winning, but evil is all about lies, and they’ve bought the lies. They’re so deceived, that they are unable to discern the truth that their kingdom is doomed to destruction, and everything they hold valuable is coming down.
18 But the path of the just is as the shining light, that shineth more and more unto the perfect day.

So, when is that perfect day of shining light coming? Very soon, I hope. I’m looking for it, hungering for it, and know that if it comes while we are alive in this age, we will recognize it. And if it comes after those of us who are alive now have passed, we will STILL recognize it, and rejoice! One way or another, the Good News is, sin will be dealt with and ENDED, and the “perfect day” will last forevermore with us who love the LORD, and we will always be in His presence.

It is so saddening to live in a twisted and evil world, where wrong is touted as right, and right is condemned as wrong. The whole world is upside-down, but it won’t always be this way. I see so many Christians walking around with long faces, and all their hope has been sucked out of them. There are times I feel the same way, but the LORD says, “LOOK UP! Your redemption draws nigh!” Now, if those aren’t encouraging words, then there ARE no encouraging words!

Right now, our Country is engulfed in a battle over the recent election: some say it’s over, fair and square, and others are certain it’s been rigged and it’s illegitimate. Seeing how the political arena has worked over the past few years, I tend to agree that the election is illegitimate. It needs to be completely done over with verifiable data, verified by both parties. After all, if it was legitimately done, then there’s nothing to fear from doing it over, right? But to me, the fact that one party is refusing a re-vote using neutral verification, tells me that there’s something terribly wrong. Will we know the truth? YES, we will, for the LORD Himself will reveal the truth, if God’s people are faithful to seek the truth!

Now, often, the truth is not what we WANT to hear, but the truth is what we always NEED to hear. In this day and age, the Bible talks about a strong delusion being sent upon the earth, and it isn’t coming; IT’S HERE!

It is written in 2 Thessalonians 2:1-14,
1 Now we beseech you, brethren, by the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, and by our gathering together unto him,
2 That ye be not soon shaken in mind, or be troubled, neither by spirit, nor by word, nor by letter as from us, as that the day of Christ is at hand.
3 Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;
4 Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God.
5 Remember ye not, that, when I was yet with you, I told you these things?
6 And now ye know what withholdeth that he might be revealed in his time.
7 For the mystery of iniquity doth already work: only he who now letteth will let, until he be taken out of the way.
8 And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming:
9 Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders,
10 And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved.
11 And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie:
12 That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.
13 But we are bound to give thanks alway to God for you, brethren beloved of the Lord, because God hath from the beginning chosen you to salvation through sanctification of the Spirit and belief of the truth:
14 Whereunto he called you by our gospel, to the obtaining of the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Perhaps you’ve never spent a lot of time studying that passage of scripture. Let me tell you, IT’S IMPORTANT! We are finding ourselves in that passage right now! We have a political party that identifies with multitude of genders, and doesn’t even know which bathroom to use, and it that isn’t “strong delusion”, then I don’t know what is. I’m not pushing a political agenda, I’m pushing a RIGHTEOUS, ACCORDING TO GOD AGENDA!

Right now, I think I understand how a trout, trying valiantly to swim upstream against overpowering currents of water must feel. Some make it, but many don’t. Many get discouraged and give up. But here is the wisdom of the saints: the Bible refers several times to those that “overcometh”. I’d like to give you a list of them in order to encourage you not to give up and give in. These hard days are not forever. God will clean up this mess, and those who overcome will be so glad they didn’t give up! Here they are:

1Jn 5:4 For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith.
1Jn 5:5 Who is he that overcometh the world, but he that believeth that Jesus is the Son of God?
Rev 2:7 He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; To him that overcometh will I give to eat of the tree of life, which is in the midst of the paradise of God.
Rev 2:11 He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; He that overcometh shall not be hurt of the second death.
Rev 2:17 He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; To him that overcometh will I give to eat of the hidden manna, and will give him a white stone, and in the stone a new name written, which no man knoweth saving he that receiveth it.
Rev 2:26 And he that overcometh, and keepeth my works unto the end, to him will I give power over the nations:
Rev 3:5 He that overcometh, the same shall be clothed in white raiment; and I will not blot out his name out of the book of life, but I will confess his name before my Father, and before his angels.
Rev 3:12 Him that overcometh will I make a pillar in the temple of my God, and he shall go no more out: and I will write upon him the name of my God, and the name of the city of my God, which is new Jerusalem, which cometh down out of heaven from my God: and I will write upon him my new name.
Rev 3:21 To him that overcometh will I grant to sit with me in my throne, even as I also overcame, and am set down with my Father in his throne.
Rev 21:7 He that overcometh shall inherit all things; and I will be his God, and he shall be my son.

These scriptures are cool water to a thirsty soul, sort of like saying “Sic-em!” to a pit-bull dog to go after something bad. Don’t let this evil generation discourage you. They’re a “flash-in-the-pan”, here today and gone tomorrow in God’s scheme of things. Hang in there, the light at the end of the tunnel is not a freight train, it’s your SALVATION! I read the end of the Bible, and it says God’s people WIN! So, REJOICE AND PRAISE GOD!!
