Hebrews 6:17-20 says, Wherein God, willing more abundantly to show unto the heirs of promise the immutability of His counse, confirmed it by an oath: that by two immutable things, in which it was impossible for God to lie, we might have a strong consolation, who have fled for refuge to lay hold on the hope set before us: So, if it is impossible for God to lie, and it is, then for example, when the Bible which is the Word of God says “by his stripes ye are healed,”
and “By His stripes ye were healed”, why do we put more faith in what the doctor says, than what God says? The doctor may say someone has such and such, and that person, even having a covenant relationship with Jesus, casts
down the Word of God in favor of the word of “Doc”.

which hope we have as an anchor of the soul, both sure and stedfast, and which entereth into that within the veil; whither the forerunner is for us entered, even Jesus, made an high priest for ever after the order of Melchisedec.:

Or, if a person is a giver and adversity comes their way to take their money, will that person stop being a giver because it looks like there is a shortage of God keeping His word? God said in 2 Corinthians 9:6-11, “But this I say, he which soweth sparingly shall reap also sparingly, and he which soweth bountifully shall reap also bountifully, every man according as he purposeth in his heart, so let him give, not grudgingly, or of necessity, for God loveth a cheerful giver. And God is able to make all grace abound toward you, that ye, always having all sufficiency in all things, may abound to every good work: as it is written, he hath dispersed abroad, he hath given to the poor; his righteousness remaineth for ever. Now he that ministereth seed to the sower both minister bread for your food, and multiply your seed sown, and increase the fruits of your righteousness, being enriched in everything to all bountifulness, which causeth through us thanksgiving to God.”
Now, if it is IMPOSSIBLE for God to lie, then when circumstances occur that are contrary to God’s word, we can call that circumstance to change and line up with the word of God. Because the Word of God is truth, and everything else must conform to God’s word, whether it wants to or not.  Where we go wrong is to read the Word of God and say, “This is God”, then accept some other word or circumstance that is contrary to God’s word. God only accepts truth.

Should not God’s children do the same??

God speaks to the storm and it calms. Should not God’s children follow hard after the Father to learn to think, say, and act like the Father? Jesus gave us the example by which we should live, talk, and act. He said He did nothing apart from the Father’s will. He said, “I and my Father are One.” If He is who He says He is and we are who we say we are, then the devil has no authority over us, for Jesus has given us authority over the devil. Luke 10:19 says, “Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and OVER ALL THE POWER OF THE ENEMY: and nothing shall by any means hurt you.”

Either we believe God, or we believe what the devil says.
The only power the devil can have over us is what we give him by fear, doubt, unbelief, or disobedience. Stop considering what the devil says, and consider JESUS, who is King of Kings, and Lord of Lords! The Alpha and
Omega, the One who cannot lie. He IS good for all His promises to all who will BELIEVE. But those who fear and doubt, James said, Let not that person think they shall receive anything of the Lord. Who will they receive from?
You guessed it…the devil, the father of lies. As for me, I believe God,
and I will receive good things of the Lord, praise be to His holy name
forever!
