COME AND DINE

Most everyone I know likes to eat.  You seldom hear of anyone turning down an invitation to a nice meal, do you?  Well, today you are cordially being invited to “come and dine” at a really nice place, and you don’t have to pay the bill, and you don’t have to leave a tip, and you don’t have to help with the dishes.  The table is most richly furnished and everything you could need is is there.  All we need is YOU!
Ok, you say, what’s the catch?  Glad you asked.  After all, there’s no such thing as a “free lunch”, right?  That’s right.  Someone else footed the bill for this invitation, and it sure wasn’t you.  Nevertheless, the offer is valid and is extended to “whosoever will” come.  That means if you’re short, tall, pretty, ugly, not too smart, rich, poor, lame or lazy, you are invited.  Everything is now ready, come grab a seat and dig in! GO BIG, BE BOLD!

Today I will teach about healing again, it’s my job. The Body of Christ seems to be suffering from an inferiority complex.  For the most part, believers have forgotten what the Lord Jesus taught His disciples.  And most importantly, they have forgotten that THEY are the modern-day disciples of Christ Jesus of Nazareth, meaning the world looks at them and expects them to deliver the same thing that the original disciples were empowered to do.  Assuming you are a believer and follower of Christ Jesus, can you look in the mirror and see yourself as taking the place of one of the original disciples?  Yes, I know the Lord Jesus was here over two thousand years ago, and you weren’t even born yet.  But the Bible says in Hebrews 13:8, Jesus Christ the same yesterday, today, and for ever.
