WHERE IS YOUR FAITH?

Without a doubt, all of us face trials at one time or another, and it makes no difference if you are a Christian or not. The devil is an “equal opportunity destroyer” who would just as soon destroy you as much as me, it makes him no difference. But it DOES make a difference to him when he runs into someone who has faith and isn’t afraid to use it.

OFFENSE STOPS THE BLESSING

Having been in the ministry for over 25 years now, I’ve learned a thing or two along the way. And one is, offense stops the blessings of God. I’ve been to churches where they do their victory dances over the devil, make their declarations, taking the nations for the Gospel of Jesus Christ. But something is missing. Their lives are really no different than people who don’t know Jesus as their Lord and Savior. And there’s something terribly wrong with that situation.

A CAN OF WORMS

I’ve been known at times to open a can of worms. Today I will attempt to do exactly that. During this past week I’ve had some conversations concerning law and grace, which seem to go as well together as oil and water. Are we under the law, or are we under grace? Are we still to keep any of the Old Testament, or are we only under the New? Let’s do some exploring today, and I think you’ll find it to be interesting. Maybe you’ve thought about these things, maybe not.

THE SERVANT OF THE LORD

When looking at the state of the “CHURCH” at large, I see a dissimilarity between Christ Jesus and the Church. I see a “Church” comprised of “believers” who are more prone to desire God to serve them, than they are to serve God. For proof of that, I ask you to listen to the prayers you hear others make, and your own prayers as well. Are those prayers filled with, “LORD, I need…., please give me…., LORD, please do this for me….”? If so, then those are not “I’m serving God” prayers, but rather “God, serve ME” prayers.

MAYBE KINDA SEEKING GOD?

Sometimes I write stuff that upsets people, and maybe this is one of those times. You see, I just got done writing two pages about what God gave me to write, and I went to save it, and it got erased. Well, I know God told me to write it, but the devil didn’t like it, so he zapped it. So, I’m writing it again, and I believe the LORD will bring every word back to my remembrance.

A GOOD REPORT

It is written in Joshua 1:8, “This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success.Continue Reading »

WHEN DISCOURAGEMENT COMES

Have you ever had discouraging days? Sure you have, we all do. And we feel we are left all alone in the world with no one to comfort us. Well, I’ve had a few of those lately, and just this week a beloved friend died who had cancer, whom I’ve ministered to, anointed with oil, laid hands on, prayed in faith, did everything the Bible called for, and he STILL died. And I’m not the only one discouraged, just think about his wife, parents, children, and family. What do you do in that case?

FOLLOW ME

You know how I love to teach about healing, for it is part of our “benefits” package. But there’s something even more important than healing, and that is your soul. Healing is wonderful, but what good is a healed body if your soul is lost? Can you be healed even if you’re not saved? Sure you can, you see, that’s God’s “dinner bell”, how He says, “Come and get it!” And most unsaved people, once they’ve tasted the goodness of God, come running to Him to be saved. That’s why Psalm 103:2 says,”…and forget not all His benefits”. You can have them ALL…IF you follow Him.

BE MADE WHOLE NOW

While on the subject of salvation and healing, some have asked me, “Why isn’t everyone healed?” I think that’s a valid question, because obviously we don’t see miracles of healing in every case. It is written in Psalm 103:2-3, “Bless the LORD, O my soul, and forget not all His benefits; who forgiveth all thine iniquities, who healeth all thy diseases.” It does NOT say He forgives some of our sins, or maybe forgives us, or sometimes heals some of our diseases. The Word is very specific in what it says. So if we doubt His Word, then we would have to say, either He forgives all our sins, or He doesn’t. Either He heals all our diseases, or He doesn’t. Which is it? Does He, or doesn’t He? I think it’s time to delve into this subject a little deeper and get some better understanding, amen?

BE OF GOOD CHEER

We look around and it’s not unusual to be saddened by the state the world is getting in. After all, we were created by God with five senses; sight, hearing, smell, touch and taste. We were created to be in touch with all our environment. So when things are going badly in the world, it affects us. Just as a warm, sunny day makes us cheerful, a gloomy, rainy day makes us sad. God knew when He made us that we would be affected by our senses.
