KEEPING THE FAITH DILIGENTLY

We often hear say “Keep the faith”.  And that’s good!  But what faith are we keeping?  It is written in Jude 1:3, Beloved, when I gave all diligence to write unto you of the common salvation, it was needful for me to write unto you, and exhort you that ye should earnestly contend for the faith which was once delivered unto the saints.

As we all know, things often change, and nothing stays the same.  Some things change for good, some not so good, and some go really bad.  But some things should NEVER change, and one of them is the faith that was once delivered unto the saints.  You should be able to go in any church anywhere in the world and the doctrine should be exactly the same.  Yet it isn’t.  Why not?  Because for one reason or another, the doctrines of faith once delivered unto the saints has changed.  NO!!  Say it isn’t so!  Sorry, but they have.  Now what are we to do? YOU HAVE A LAWYER

The book of First, Second, and Third John was not written to the world of unbelievers, but to the CHURCH!  1 John 1:8-9 says, If we say we have  no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. Many use this part of the prayer to lead people to salvation, but it was written to those who have already received Christ Jesus. Continue Reading »

JUST ONE MORE TIME

“Just one more time….”  Have you ever heard that expression?  Maybe it was you when you were young and you wanted another ride on the merry go round.  Maybe it was one of your children wanting to do something after you decided enough was enough.  How many times do we tell God that…..I wonder? ABOUT HEALING

I can’t see in the Bible, or the ministry of the Lord Jesus that people had to wait for months or years for their healing to become manifest, and yet it often happens today.  Surely there is a Biblical answer, for the Word of God covers every area of life. Continue Reading »

RECOVERING WHAT THE THIEF HAS STOLEN

The Lord Jesus said in John 10:10, The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly. It amazes me how blind people can be when it comes to things they have lost through the years.  MANY say that they have experienced loss in their lives of material goods, health, money, and about everything else you can think of, yet they don’t have a clue why, or what they can do about it.  Well, there’s a thief out there, and his name is Satan, and of course he has many helpers, who are the fallen angels.  How many are there?  We don’t know, only that their number is a THIRD of the angelic host.  Whatever that number is, they are on the earth, and they are here to make trouble for YOU.  So what do you intend to do about it? WHAT IS AN “OVERCOMER”?

What is an “overcomer”?  And why is it so important to be an overcomer?  Let’s explore this today.  It is written in Revelation 21:1-8;
Rev 21:1 And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea.
Rev 21:2 And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.
Rev 21:3  And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God.
Rev 21:4 And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.
Rev 21:5 And he that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new. And he said unto me, Write: for these words are true and faithful.
Rev 21:6 And he said unto me, It is done. I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end. I will give unto him that is athirst of the fountain of the water of life freely.
Rev 21:7 He that overcometh shall inherit all things; and I will be his God, and he shall be my son.
Rev 21:8 But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death. Continue Reading »
