A VOICE CRYING IN THE WILDERNESS

There are a whole lot of voices in the world today saying this or that, and depending which one we listen to and obey, will determine where we will spend eternity.  We all know the voice of the world; saying “do it your way, you deserve to do whatever you want to”.  What most people DON’T realize is that the voice of the world is the voice of the devil, only he doesn’t want you to think it is him trying to urge you to your destruction, because he wants to stay hidden from view.  He hates God, and he hates God’s children, and though he can’t hurt God in the least, he targets God’s children with waste, ruin and destruction by any means possible. A SOLDIER OF THE CROSS

In our generation many Christians have bought into some wrong thinking, and the Kingdom of God has suffered for it.  Many preachers would have us believe that God is OUR servant, instead of we being HIS servants.  Now don’t get me wrong, I believe God’s perfect will for us is that we have all sufficiency in all things, so we are equipped to do every good work.  And Christ Jesus healed all the sick who came to Him, so we can’t say it’s God’s will for us to be sick, for it says in Psalm 103:2-3 Bless the LORD, O my soul, and forget not all His benefits; who forgiveth all thine iniquities, who healeth all thy diseases. RESIST THE DEVIL

Have you ever heard the saying, “The devil made me do it….”?  It’s often an excuse people use when they do what they know they shouldn’t.  But in reality, it’s a pretty lame excuse, for the devil cannot make you do anything unless you let him persuade you.  It is written in James 4:7, Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.  Continue Reading »

THE REPORT OF THE LORD

There are accounts in the Bible where people often missed out on the blessings of the LORD, simply because they failed to believe.  Remember how the Israelites were told to go and take the Promised Land, but they didn’t, because they feared the people of the land?  In fact, ten of the twelve spies sent to spy out the Promised Land came back and said there were giants in the land, and they were as grasshoppers in the sight of the giants.  Only two, Joshua and Caleb said, Let us go up immediately and take the land.  Later in life, Joshua and Caleb were the only two of that generation who had actually held their faith and took their promised land.
