WHERE’S THE POWER?

   Recently I attended a ministry conference where they talked about “DUNAMIS”.  For those of you who don’t know, DUNAMIS is a Greek term which means the following:
dunamis
doo’-nam-is  Strong’s number 1411
From G1410; force (literally or figuratively); specifically miraculous power (usually by implication a miracle itself): – ability, abundance, meaning, might (-ily, -y, -y deed), (worker of) miracle (-s), power, strength, violence, mighty (wonderful) work. Continue Reading »

WHEN DOUBT COMES CALLING

   Which is easier; to believe, or to doubt?  Well, it depends which way you’re facing.  If you’re facing the biggest mountain you’ve ever seen in your life, and it looks like there’s no way over it, under it, around it or through it, then it might be easier to doubt if you’re like most people.  But, like I said, it depends which way you’re facing.  If you’re in faith, then that mountain will move, one way or another whether it wants to or not.  In fact, you’d have to do an about-face and actually doubt, for it not to move.  Continue Reading »

WHOSOEVER WILL

   “Whosoever will”, that’s how God puts it, anyone who wants know Him personally and live in His blessing is welcome: whosoever, anyone, anywhere, regardless of sex, race, or national origin. It is written in Revelation 22:17,   And the Spirit and the bride say, Come. And let him that heareth say, Come. And let him that is athirst come. WHO WILL YOU CALL?

   If you’ve watched TV lately, you will see about half of the commercials are trying to sell you some kind of drug to treat whatever you perceive ails you.  A pill to help you sleep, a pill to wake you up, a pill for your allergies, a pill to help you breathe, a pill to get you up when you’re down, a pill to calm you down if you’re overactive.  There’s a pill to help you gain weight, a pill to help you lose weight, a pill for birth control, a pill to help you conceive a baby, a pill to abort a baby.  There’s a pill for heartburn, toothache, bellyache, heartache you name it.  Not to mention that most of the drugs list side-effects that can be as bad as the ailment, or worse, maybe fatal.  Continue Reading »
