Today I would like to teach from John 21 something the Lord Jesus revealed to me, and it changed my life. It will change yours, too. You know, so many Christians feel so disappointed with their walk with Jesus. What is the overall reason the Lord Jesus came to the earth? It is written in Matthew 18:11-14, “For the son of man is come to save that which was lost. How think ye? If a man have an hundred sheep, and one of them be gone astray, doth he not leave the ninety and nine, and goeth into the mountains, and seeketh that which is gone astray? We are continually hearing about the grace of God, and that’s good. But we must be in balance about things, not just “majoring” in faith, and leaving out the other attributes of God. First off, God is Holy, beyond any description we can make with mere words. I’d like to give an example from Revelation 4:6-11; And before the throne there was a sea of glass like unto crystal: and in the midst of the throne, and round about the throne, were four beasts full of eyes before and behind. And the first beast was like a lion, and the second beast like a calf, and the third beast had a face as a man, and the fourth beast was like a flying eagle. And the four beasts had each of them six wings about him; and they were full of eyes within: and they rest not day and night, saying, Holy, holy, holy, Lord God Almighty, which was, and is, and is to come. And when those beasts give glory and honour and thanks to him that sat on the throne, who liveth for ever and ever, The four and twenty elders fall down before him that sat on the throne, and worship him that liveth for ever and ever, and cast their crowns before the throne, saying, Thou art worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honour and power: for thou hast created all things, and for thy pleasure they are and were created.
