WHAT IS YOUR FOCUS?

There seems to be a lot of people who either don’t believe the LORD is returning soon, or just don’t care, by the way they live and speak.  I for one believe He IS coming soon, perhaps during my lifetime, and it moves me with fear, not of being lost, but of not accomplishing what He has called me to do.  And that is what?  Preaching the Kingdom of God and asking people to repent and become disciples of Christ Jesus. WHAT WILL THIS BRING FORTH?

By now pretty much all of the nations are experiencing the plague of COVID-19, causing global problems. It’s pretty much proven this is not a “natural” virus, but a manufactured one, created in a lab in China, and it got loose from there. Accidently, or on purpose? We will likely never know, as China isn’t very forthcoming with its affairs. Who created it and why is also questionable. And most likely, there is more to it than meets the eye, like, who is behind it with their money?

IN THE MEANTIME

Do you know what is the most talked about topic in churches today? It is about when Christ Jesus will return and take His people in the “rapture”. It seems the church is so focused on “retirement” that it has lost its focus on why it’s here in the first place. Do you know why we’re still here? You don’t? It’s so we can win souls for the Kingdom of God!

THE LAND IS BEFORE THEE

Last night as I was brushing my teeth, preparing to go to bed, the Word of the LORD came to me, saying quote, “The land is before thee.” I’ve heard the voice of the LORD often enough that I knew without a doubt that it was Him. Usually when He does this, it’s for my weekly newsletter. But after looking for those EXACT words, I found them in only one place in the whole Bible, in Jeremiah 40:4 which says, 4 And now, behold, I loose thee this day from the chains which were upon thine hand. If it seem good unto thee to come with me into Babylon, come; and I will look well unto thee: but if it seem ill unto thee to come with me into Babylon, forbear: behold, all the land is before thee: whither it seemeth good and convenient for thee to go, thither go.

AUTHORITY GIVEN YOU

I’m writing my newsletter a few hours early to relate to you what just happened to me a few minutes ago. I had just finished ministering to a friend a short while ago about our authority that Christ Jesus gave all His followers, and we got into a fairly deep discussion about it. I was at an RV park with a friend, and was walking back to my place on a road, facing oncoming traffic. A vehicle approached with bright lights on, and I stepped off the road, fell face-long hard, on my right hand, bending all my fingers back, then that fist was smashed against one of my ribs, and skinned up a knee and hit my head. So, I thought I’d type while I still can, as my hand is swelling up. It wasn’t clumsiness, it was an attack of the enemy, and I know why.

THE GREAT COMMISSION

Most every Christian has heard the term, “The Great Commission”.  The Lord Jesus gave it in Matthew 28:16-20 as His final instructions to His disciples outlining their life mission before returning to heaven, and it went like this: Continue Reading »

FISHERS OF MEN

The Lord Jesus told His disciples that if they would follow Him, He would make them fishers of men.  Have you ever given careful consideration to that statement?  Here is the passage in Matthew 4: Continue Reading »

FROM THE LEAST TO THE GREATEST

As I sat down and wrote today’s date, instantly the words came into my spirit, “From the least to the greatest”.  I told my wife, “Boy, that was fast, now I know what to write about today.”  The key verse is found in Jeremiah 31:34, which says:
And they shall teach no more every man his neighbour, and every man his brother, saying, Know the LORD: for they shall all know me, from the least of them unto the greatest of them, saith the LORD: for I will forgive their iniquity, and I will remember their sin no more. Continue Reading »
