Today I’d like to talk about healing. Why? Because a lot of people need it, and jump through all kinds of hoops trying to be well. They spend vast fortunes on doctors and medicines, and success is measured by the amount spent, if at all. Sometimes I wonder why people stumble at healing so badly, when God made it so simple and easy.

On the day of Pentecost, when the Holy Spirit was poured out on those gathered in the upper room worshipping God, the power of God began manifesting mightily in signs and wonders through the believers. Some people think that only the original disciples did signs and wonders, but that isn’t the case at all. What good would it have been if the Holy Spirit only did miracles for the original disciples, then quit after they died? Well, it would have given the body of Christ a jump start, alright, but it would have soon fizzled out. And “fizzling out” isn’t what God had in mind at all on Pentecost. It was only the BEGINNING!

The Lord Jesus spoke the following in Luke 6:39-40, “And he spake a parable unto them, Can the blind lead the blind? shall they not both fall into the ditch? People often ask me, “Why doesn’t the Word of God work today like it used to back in the Bible days?” That’s a fair question, we need to look into that, and today is the day. First off, we must establish whether or not God has changed, and if the Gospel has changed. The Holy Spirit is leading me back in the direction of healing today. Many have told me they believe healing went out with the ministry of Jesus and the original disciples, and that’s why we don’t see a lot of healing miracles today.
