WHAT’S IN YOUR HEART?

It is written in Proverb 21:2, “Every way of a man is right in his own eyes: but the LORD pondereth the hearts.” This is just the nature of mankind, to always think we’re right. We can never admit we’re wrong, can we? Why, I remember recently I thought I was wrong, but thankfully I was mistaken. But the LORD ponders the hearts. And boy, are we full of pride. Well, maybe YOU are, but not me….(and that’s how we make excuses to God). I for one need all the help from God that I can get, because like the Bible says in Genesis 6:5,
And GOD saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually.

WASTE NOT, WANT NOT

“Waste not, want not” is an old proverb first recorded in 1772, and a statement similar to that was recorded earlier in the 1500’s, which is as useful today as it was back then. When we make good use of what we already have available, it keeps us from having lack in that area.

IT ALL CLEANS UP

During the past week I’ve been working on our ministry’s motor home, having rebuilt the engine, and now working on the transaxle.  Let me say, you don’t know what dirty is until you’ve worked on a diesel vehicle. I mean, diesel grease is tenacious and if you get near it, it’s on you and doesn’t easily come off.  It gets into your skin and not much will remove it.   And every day working on it reminds me of what our Savior has done for us.
