FULLY PERSUADED

I like to use the phrase that Jesus used; “IT IS WRITTEN”. It has served me very well these past twenty five years since I was saved. Like many others, I’m no stranger to trials and temptations, and life has not always been easy, BUT, I am fully convinced that God will do EXACTLY what He said in His Word, though that flies in the face of what many say, “Well, you never know what God’s going to do….”

CLEARLY HEARING GOD’S VOICE

DO YOU BELIEVE GOD?

If you ask the average Joe on the street if they believe in God, most will say they do, but some don’t.  If you ask the ones who say they believe IN God if they BELIEVE God, most all of them will say they do.  BUT DO THEY REALLY?  How can you know?  You can start by asking them WHY?  A few will say, “God cannot lie”.  And that is a correct answer, but here’s the test:  when the going gets rough and the devil is causing them all kinds of trouble, what are they doing?
Psalm 23:4 says, Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me. Continue Reading »

WISDOM

The book of Proverbs is a book of wisdom, and there is a proverb for each day of the month.  I like to read a proverb each night before going to bed and fall asleep meditating on it. The world teaches us to seek money and possessions, but the Bible tells us to seek wisdom.  Who is the source of all wisdom?  That has to be God, and He wants to impart wisdom to us. I’ve often said, wisdom enables us to recognize a mistake when we make it again.  And the biggest mistake I see people make is not believing what is written in the Bible. Continue Reading »
