End of year message to our friends

As another year draws to a close, I’d like to take this time to sincerely thank those of you who have given of your time and prayers and finances to help Life Healing Ministries as we strive to bring healing to those who need it. You are loved and appreciated so very much.  We could not be doing this without your help.  There is still another day left if you want to make a year-end donation, you can use the PayPal button on our website, or mail your gift .   Thank you for all you do, may the LORD reward you abundantly!

As always, I will be sending out donation receipts during the first couple weeks of January, so those of you who file your taxes early will have your receipt.  If you have moved during the past year, PLEASE send me your current address immediately by text or email, as each year I get some receipts back that could not be forwarded.  May God bless you exceedingly in the coming New Year as we grow together in the LORD.  Be blessed!

TO BE SEEN OF MEN

As we end another year and prepare to start a new one, I’d like to take this time to ask you to review your past year and your walk with the LORD.  You know, if your walk with Him hasn’t been what it should be, this is a good time to change that.  And if it IS on track, it’s a good time to make it even better.  The LORD is always happy to spend more time with you, and it’s the best investment you can make with your time, one that will pay everlasting benefits. GET YOUR HOPES UP

Today I’d like to write about the subject of healing, after all, this is a healing ministry.  So many people are needing healing, and some have been waiting for years without receiving it. And a lot of the reason people fail to receive is because well-meaning folks tell them, “Well, you know it’s not always God’s will to heal, so don’t get your hopes up too high.”  Did you know that runs absolutely contrary to the written Word of God? PUT THE UNBELIEVERS OUT

There is an account in Mark chapter five about Jairus, who was a ruler in the Synagogue, whose daughter was at the point of death, and he asked Jesus to come heal her.  Now, the Jews were against what Jesus taught, so Jairus had to put his head on the chopping block to go to Jesus.  But Jairus was desperate, and many of you are desperate to receive healing.  But how desperate are you?  Enough to do what Jesus himself did? KNOWING THE TRUTH

People say they want to know the truth, but once they hear it, they don’t always want to abide by it.  When Christ Jesus was being questioned by Pilate in court prior to being crucified, it is written,
Joh 18:36  Jesus answered, My kingdom is not of this world: if my kingdom were of this world, then would my servants fight, that I should not be delivered to the Jews: but now is my kingdom not from hence.
Joh 18:37  Pilate therefore said unto him, Art thou a king then? Jesus answered, Thou sayest that I am a king. To this end was I born, and for this cause came I into the world, that I should bear witness unto the truth. Every one that is of the truth heareth my voice.
Joh 18:38  Pilate saith unto him, What is truth? And when he had said this, he went out again unto the Jews, and saith unto them, I find in him no fault at all. Continue Reading »

THIS EARTHLY LIFE

As most of you know, my particular ministry is teaching about healing, and that is a multi-faceted subject.  As human beings, we are focused on our earthly life from the time we are born until we die.  Only when we become aware of God do we start thinking beyond our earthly life.  At some point in everyone’s life, God moves to make His presence known to them, and we are presented with a choice whether to accept Him or reject Him.  God doesn’t just give us one opportunity to know Him, then He’s gone, but rather, He will keep pulling on our heart strings until we receive Him, or tell Him to get lost and never speak to us again. It is written in 2 Peter 3:9, The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.
