FEEDING THE FLOCK

   As we travel from church to church, every member from every congregation differs from one another, but they all have one thing in common, they all need to be fed the Word of God.  Sadly, many of the sheep are spiritually starved to death.  Why is that?  Are the pastors really paying attention to the needs of the flock, or, are the sheep just not wanting to be fed?  Or is it a little of both?  Continue Reading »

WHO IS IN CHARGE?

  There’s something the LORD wants me to address that affects not only how we believe, but how we have acted as well.  In the past I’ve talked about the so-called Burger King mentality that many Christians have.  You can go to Burger King and get a hamburger pretty much any way you want it, and there’s no wrong way, for your way will always be the right way.  If you want a conventional hamburger, that’s fine.  But if you want the meat on the outside and the bun in the middle, that’s ok too.  If you’d like French fries on your hamburger with pie in the center, you can have that.  Whatever you want, it’s ok.  So we think we can experience God on those terms as well.  Can we really?  Let’s explore that today. SPEAK THE WORD ONLY
