REDEEMED? FROM WHAT?

GOD HAS FEELINGS TOO

   Have you ever noticed how most of our prayers are based on how we feel at the time?  If we are happy, we spend more time worshipping God, and if we’re sad, it’s “oh, woe is me” prayer time.  If we don’t feel good, we are usually asking God to make us well, and if we need money, well, we are usually asking God to prosper us.  Whatever we are feeling pretty much determines how we will pray. STAND YOUR GROUND

   Recently I’ve been talking about doing our part of our covenant with God and letting Him do His part.  In short review, we cannot reasonably expect God to bless us if we are in violation of the terms of our covenant with us.  Often we think God is not doing His part, but as the Word of God says, there are conditions to every covenant and promise, and He always does His part “IF” we do ours.  We must submit ourselves unto God’s will.  So let’s suppose we ARE doing our part according to God’s Word, then what? PLEAD YOUR CASE

   God has always been about doing what is just and right.  With ancient Israel, God set up a system of judges through Moses to bring justice to situations that arose among the people, from minor situations to major ones.  Even today civilization as a whole revolves around laws and rules, or else everything would be a free-for-all.  And of course when the rule of law breaks down, chaos and anarchy takes over, resulting in oppression and injustice.  Even God subjects Himself to the rule of law.
