A LOT TO BE THANKFUL FOR

WHATSOEVER YE ASK, BELIEVING

     Just yesterday I received a phone call from a friend who is going through hard times.  This particular person is a believer in Christ Jesus and what He did on the cross for us.  When she called, I felt in my spirit she was on the verge of giving up.  My heart hurt at hearing about her situation, and we prayed, as we often have in the past.  For her, it’s been one battle after the other for all the years I’ve known her.  She has been taught to throw her burdens over on the Lord Jesus and leave them there.  Now understand, we all go through hard times, for we all have a common enemy which is Satan, and he is an equal-opportunity destroyer.  That means he hates me as much as he hates you, so he doesn’t care whose day he ruins, just as long as it’s someone.  And if it’s someone who loves the Lord, then so much the better, it’s like we have a target painted upon our back.
