Without a doubt, all of us face trials at one time or another, and it makes no difference if you are a Christian or not. The devil is an “equal opportunity destroyer” who would just as soon destroy you as much as me, it makes him no difference. But it DOES make a difference to him when he runs into someone who has faith and isn’t afraid to use it.

We live in a world that is constantly changing. What was “settled” yesterday is subject to change today. Which ever way the wind blows, so goes the opinions of society. What was wrong yesterday is not only right today, it is being promoted. Not only that, what is wrong according to God’s Word is being pushed on us, with people telling us that God is ok with it because He has changed along with our evolving society.

As I listen to those around me, many speak of problem areas in their lives, and I tell them God has a solution, but most say, “Maybe so, but that’s the truth.” Well, that may be “their reality”, but does that line up with “God’s reality”?

Recently I’ve been ministering to a lot of people with sickness, or who have sick loved ones, and the thing I hear in their voices the most is fear. One thing you can always count on, it that fear never comes halfway. It always comes as a full-on attack. What is fear? In its essence, it is faith that the devil can do more to hurt you than God can do to help you. In other words, lack of trust in God.

I like to use the phrase that Jesus used; “IT IS WRITTEN”. It has served me very well these past twenty five years since I was saved. Like many others, I’m no stranger to trials and temptations, and life has not always been easy, BUT, I am fully convinced that God will do EXACTLY what He said in His Word, though that flies in the face of what many say, “Well, you never know what God’s going to do….”

Many have asked me, “Why are only some healed?”, and that’s a fair question that is worthy of an answer. There are some healing ministries out there that claim 100% results, but I’m not one of them. In fact, if I find one that can consistently show me 100% healings, then I’m going to follow them myself and learn what I can. But from what others tell me that came to me after not being healed at others, it shows me that none of us are getting 100% results. What are you feeding your faith? If your faith is going to work for you when you need it, then it must be well-fed and ready at all times. Now consider your physical body; if you expect it to work and do what you want, you must feed it, right? If you starve your body, it will get weaker and weaker each passing day, until you can’t even get out of bed and walk anymore. Of course, most people don’t starve their body, in fact, many are grossly overweight. They make sure they get plenty to eat. And if they fed their faith as much as they feed their body, they would be spiritual giants.

Today I’d like to draw attention to something Jesus spoke in Luke 18:1-8, which seems to many to be contradictory in its nature:
1 And he spake a parable unto them to this end, that men ought always to pray, and not to faint;
2 Saying, There was in a city a judge, which feared not God, neither regarded man:
3 And there was a widow in that city; and she came unto him, saying, Avenge me of mine adversary.
4 And he would not for a while: but afterward he said within himself, Though I fear not God, nor regard man;
5 Yet because this widow troubleth me, I will avenge her, lest by her continual coming she weary me.
6 And the Lord said, Hear what the unjust judge saith.
7 And shall not God avenge his own elect, which cry day and night unto him, though he bear long with them?
