There is so much sickness going around in the churches.  Why are so many of God’s children sick?  Is that the will of God?  Or have they failed to make use of what has been given to them by Jesus?

I imagine that will stir up a bit of a hornet’s nest, and indeed it should.  There are those in different denominations that know absolutely nothing about the healing that Jesus provided those who believe on Him.  And there are those who have been taught, but don’t believe that it applies today.  And there are those who don’t believe that it applies to them, personally.  What do all three of those groups have in common?  They get sick, even though they don’t have to.  And to me, that’s exceedingly sad.  I mean, if you owe a debt and someone else pays it in full, then you get a notice in the mail from someone trying to collect on that debt, what are you going to do?

Well, I imagine you’ll just roll over and pay it again, if you’re like most people in the church.  Because that’s EXACTLY what sick people are doing.  They’re paying again for what Jesus paid in full for, by the stripes He took upon His own body, in our behalf.  He didn’t take those stripes for HIS healing, He was never sick.  He took those stripes for all and any who would believe upon Him, for THEIR diseases and sicknesses, maladies and calamities.  And there is no time expiration.  Healing didn’t end with the first disciples.  Go ahead, do your own research, did any of the twelve disciples die of sickness?  How about THEIR disciples?  No?  then why are TODAY’S disciples getting sick?

Has the blood of Jesus lost its power?  Yeah, that’s gotta be it, it fizzled out, after all, it’s been over 2000 years now since Jesus was crucified and rose again.

OR, is it that the gospel has been so watered down, that it in itself is powerless to protect against sin and sickness?  We have so many milk-toast preachers today that are afraid to stand upon what Jesus taught, for fear of being labeled a “fanatic”.  It makes me want to barf.

Just one verse in the Bible is enough to send most Christians running for the hills, and that is Matthew 10:8, in which Jesus commanded His disciples, “Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out devils; freely ye have received, freely give.”  You need to read and memorize that verse, Believer!  It isn’t a SUGGESTION, it’s a COMMAND!  If you consider yourself a believer upon Christ Jesus, you’re supposed to be doing those things.  And if you aren’t?   Then it’s simple.  You’re not a Believer!

Oh, you didn’t want me to say that?  Sorry, it’s the truth, because Jesus himself said it.  Notice the “raise the dead” part.  Notice the “cast out devils” part.  How many are practicing those things?  Too few.  And that isn’t even the “heal the sick, cleanse the lepers” part.  It’s like, well, we’d LIKE to be able to do those things, but hey, it just doesn’t happen nowdays.  You know why?  You’re not hearing the Gospel over and over until it gets down inside you.  You’re being fed skimmed milk, not the meat and taters of the Gospel.

And you’re being taught by people who not only are not doing what that verse says, you are being taught by people who don’t believe Jesus said what He meant, and meant what He said.  And those people are watering down the blood of Jesus with lies and their own fleshly teachings!  They are neutering God’s own people, and this needs to stop, and I mean NOW!

No doubt, I will be labeled as a heretic for teaching this, but I don’t care!  I know, according to Hebrews 13:8-9, which says, Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever.  Be not carried about with divers and strange doctrines. For it is a good thing that the heart be established with grace; not with meats, which have not profited them that have been occupied therein.

Any “Gospel” that isn’t bringing forth the very fruits of what Jesus taught, is a false gospel, period.  The blood of Jesus has NOT lost its power upon those who truly believe!  They aren’t sick, they aren’t powerless, and they are bringing forth the same fruit that the first twelve disciples brought forth.  And they all died of persecution from sharing the Gospel, not sickness.  And those twelve taught others, and it has continued down until this day.  What we need to do is go back and find out where and when the power of the blood stopped working, and ditch those false teachings!

You won’t hear ME teaching anything that undermines what Jesus taught!  I’m not tooting my horn, I’m just saying, THE BLOOD OF JESUS IS AS STRONG TODAY AS IT WAS WHEN JESUS SHED IT!  And if you don’t believe that, then you need to re-examine what you believe about Jesus, because what you believe is not lining up with the Word of God!

Strong word?  Well, the Sword of the Word is double edged! God designed it to both ways!  It cuts through sin and sickness, as well as it cuts through lies and unbelief and false doctrines and religion!  There are SO MANY lost and unsaved and sick people out there, the very ones that Jesus came to save and heal.  And as long as those people are hearing a neutered gospel, they will live and die in sin and sickness, and never come to repentance, and never have a chance to do the works that Jesus commanded His disciples to do!

Ditch everything you believe that doesn’t agree with Matthew 10:8. Come into true faith and align your life with the teachings of Jesus.  Stop wasting your life on things that profit your soul nothing! Stop wasting time on things that bring forth no fruit for the Kingdom of God!  There are many out there needing to hear the true Gospel of Jesus Christ.  Maybe you’re one of them!  Put your pride on the altar and repent of unbelief, and start doing what Jesus said to do!  Jesus said in John 14:12-17,

12  Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father.

 13  And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son.

 14  If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it.

 15  If ye love me, keep my commandments.

 16  And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever;

 17  Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you.

            Now, you either believe that, or you don’t.  If you believe that, then get out there and do it.  And if you don’t believe it, then get out of my way so I can do it!  Amen?  God ordained for believers to be healed by the stripes of Jesus, just as He ordained them to be able to live free from sin.  Yes, you can have both.  Jesus said so.  It’s up to you whether you want to take Him up on it or not.
