THE WAY IT IS

We’ve all heard the expression, “that’s the way it is”. So whatever it is you’re talking about, you just accept it as that and drop it. That is, unless you’re like I am. I like to study deeper into things and get to the bottom of the matter. Now, while I appreciate the hard work and research of others, there’s still nothing like searching a matter out for yourself, so you are satisfied every stone has been turned over, every “I” dotted and every “t” crossed. Else, how are you going to stand up when the circumstances point contrary to what everyone else believes?

For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith.

THE POWER OF FORGIVENESS

What is the main thing we got by Christ Jesus going to the cross? It is the forgiveness of our sins, past, present, and future. Due to our receiving Christ Jesus as LORD and Savior, sin is no longer imputed against us. Without forgiveness of our sins, we have absolutely no hope of everlasting life. The Bible is very clear about that, AND, it is also very clear that we must in turn forgive everyone who has sinned against US. Continue Reading »

NO COMPROMISE

Whenever we want to make a deal with someone, we must be willing to compromise. An example of that would be if you are trying to buy a car from someone and they want $10,000 for it. You look the car over and decide, yes, you want it, but you’re only willing to give $8,000 for it. Would you walk away, or would you make your $8,000 offer for it? Well, if you wanted it, you would offer the seller what you decided, and he could either take it, or refuse. We will say he was willing to compromise with you for $9,000 and you felt you could do that, so you made the deal. And that’s the way we usually do business. We don’t always get what we want, so we have to compromise. How does that way of doing things work with God?
