IF TODAY WAS YOUR LAST DAY….

If somehow you knew today was your last day, how would you live it?  Nobody really wants to think about that one, do they?  Well, one of these days, it WILL be your last day, whether you know it is coming or not is another story altogether.  But if you did know it was your last day, what would you do?  Would you be sure to take time to thank God for your life and worship Him? Would it be a priority to get right with God if you aren’t already?  Would you forgive those who had wronged you?  Would you make amends with those you had distanced yourself?  Would you draw your loved ones close and tell them  how much you love them?  These and so many other questions come to mind. OLD HABITS DIE HARD

At the beginning of the New Year I took the opportunity of the time to remind you that you are a new creation if you are indeed in Christ Jesus.  New Year is looked upon as a chance for a fresh, new start, to do things better this year than we did last year. Psa 91:2  I will say of the LORD, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in him will I trust.
Psa 91:3  Surely he shall deliver thee from the snare of the fowler, and from the noisome pestilence.
Psa 91:4  He shall cover thee with his feathers, and under his wings shalt thou trust: his truth shall be thy shield and buckler. Continue Reading »

A NEW CREATURE, A NEW BEGINNING

New Year day is the day we associate with new beginnings, a chance to have a fresh, new start, and hopefully see improvement over last year.  Hopefully, I said, because many are trapped in the same old, same old, and they just don’t see any way it can be any better. But there IS hope for the future, and in spite of all that’s going on in the world, there CAN be something truly “new and improved”, namely YOU! Continue Reading »
