Delays in email replies

I left  home on a ministry trip August 28th and didn’t return home until Sept 25th. During that time I’ve been in Pennsylvania, Maryland, South Carolina and Florida.  Due to the number of prayer requests I wasn’t able to keep caught up on a daily basis answering emails, although I did pray for each prayer request. I’m back home and working on my mail.  It’s always my desire to write back or call back  on every prayer request, and of course I have to prioritize, as some are life or death situations, while some just want “blessings”.  They are all important and I answer each in their order.  Thanks to those who supported my work while I was out there on the road. We need your prayers and support more than ever, as there are a lot of hurting people “out there” who need our individual time to help them get from where they are to where they need to be.  I also need your prayers that I’ll be able to get our ministry’s motor home back on the road soon, as I’ve finally located most all of the parts I need to rebuild the engine, but now comes the “fun” part of actually doing all the mechanical work, plus whatever may be necessary to revive the rest of the motor home out of a year of non-use, back to its busy life on the road.  All that mechanical work means time away from actually doing the work of the ministry.  Help would be nice….Sometimes I feel like a one-armed wallpaper hanger, if you know what I mean.

Some have commented that I don’t usually put my travel and teaching schedule on the website.  That’s because most of our trips are “go right now” and then the LORD usually sends us somewhere else from there, as He did on this trip.  If you want us to come to you or your church or conference, let me know.  I’ll pray and ask God what He wants me to do.  I’m His “Minute Man” if you will…He says GO and I’m on the road literally in minutes.  My bags are always packed and I’m ready to go anywhere, anytime on very short notice.  Who knows? maybe my next trip might be to minister to YOU.

HOW TO PLEASE GOD

It is written in 2 Peter 3:9, The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance. So we can see it isn’t God’s will that any perish. That means God is not pleased if any perish. Now, if it isn’t GOD’S will for any to perish, just whose will IS it that many perish and are lost?  Yep, you got it.  It’s OUR OWN WILL if we perish, for God has given us a choice either to receive or reject Him.  Sadly, many reject the free offer of salvation in Christ Jesus. ESCAPING THE SNARES OF THE DEVIL

It is written in 1 Peter 5:8 Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour:
We need to be aware that the devil is continually laying snares for us to do us hurt.  Now I’m not saying we should walk around in fear, that there’s a devil behind every bush, but I am saying what Peter said, we should be aware of our surroundings and the times we are in and not just bumble along blindly.  It would be like crossing a busy street without looking, expecting God to stop the cars for us, so we don’t even need to look.  Do that, and you’ll have that “run down” feeling real quick.  There are things God will do for us, and there are things we need to do for ourselves. DO YOU REALLY TRUST GOD?

Do you really trust God?  That may sound like a silly question to you, but give it careful consideration.  Many SAY they trust God, but when the chips are down, after having prayed, they still take it upon themselves to find the solution for their problem. Continue Reading »

WILT THOU BE MADE WHOLE?

Almost everyone “knows of God”, yet not everyone has a relationship with Him. Do you realize it is not mankind that first reaches out to God, but rather it is He that first reaches out to mankind? Continue Reading »
