WHERE IS YOUR FAITH?

   It is in times of trouble that we find out what our faith is made of.  Jesus told us in this world we would have tribulations and He didn’t differentiate between believer and nonbeliever.  In this world are troubles, and we are all in the world, so they come unto everyone at times.  How we respond in troubles is greatly determined by our faith in God, or the lack thereof.

THE LION’S SHARE

   When we speak of the “Lion’s Share” of something, it means the major and best part of it.  When a lion kills its prey, he eats the good parts leaving only the gristle and undesirable parts behind for those lower in the pecking order.  Today I’d like you to understand something about your life, and it is this: the Lord Jesus said in John 10:10, The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.  There is a thief out there, Satan, whose desire is to destroy you and everything you hold dear, and what he can’t destroy or kill, he will steal.  And he isn’t satisfied with a tiny bit, he wants the lion’s share.  Is there anything you can do to stop him? LOOKING TO GOD

   In these days of poor economical times, people often look to the government to get them by.  And of course, the more people who are looking to the government for help means there are less people who are paying into the system.  It’s only a matter of time before that becomes unsustainable.  The problem is, we want and use more than we produce, and that creates debt.  And debt is somewhat like rabbits; they multiply very quickly and just keep on multiplying.
