CHECK THE DIPSTICK

   When Christ Jesus is allowed full access to your life, your decisions will be based on the Word of God.  Now that doesn’t mean you won’t meet with adverse circumstances.  Some people have been led to think that if Christ Jesus is your Lord and Savior, you’ll never see hard times, and if you ARE in the midst of trials, then you’re out of God’s will, and God is trying to teach you a lesson.  And I have to wonder how that goofy thinking ever got into the Body of Christ in the first place. ARE YOU TEACHABLE?

   Everyone wants to be healthy, prosperous and enjoy life.  I don’t know anyone who really wants to be sick and broke.  But the choices we make determine how we will live.  The Word of God tells us how to be blessed, and spells out specific things we need to do, as well as things we need to avoid doing in order to have the blessings of God.  So if we are smart, we will be willing to listen to what He has to say.  Being willing to listen and change the way we do things is what I call being teachable.  Is everyone teachable, more importantly, are YOU teachable? TEACH PEOPLE TO SEEK GOD

   This morning when I woke up, the Holy Spirit told me, Teach people to seek God.  There is something built into people of every age and culture to worship a deity.  Even people who claim not to believe in God acknowledge a sense of the existence a higher being, though they choose not to worship Him.  There are so many gods that people of other cultures worship, and the Bible talks about gods of wood and stone that do not see, hear, or speak.
