Life Healing Ministries’ Goals

We are not interested in making a name for ourselves and laying up treasures on this earth.  Rather, we desire to use every ministry opportunity to exalt our Heavenly Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.

We’re tired of going places where they want to “play church” and everyone leaves just as sick, broke, and depressed as they were when they came in.  We hunger for the presence and visitation of the Holy Spirit.  For when the Holy Spririt is present, the captives are SET FREE!

If you want more of the usual, don’t call us.  With us, it’s all about for God, or forget it!  When you’re serious about living the life that God wants you to have, we will come and help you learn how.

NO SIGNAL

NO SIGNAL

There’s a whole lot going on in the world right now that competes for our attention.  We can get so busy with our daily life, and spend so much time looking at the news and current events, that it’s easy to lose touch with what is going on in the Spirit realm.  One thing I hear a lot from people I minister to is;  “I just don’t seem to be hearing from God right now.  It’s like He isn’t speaking to me anymore.” Continue Reading »

When in doubt, DON’T!

Right about now you may be thinking, when in doubt, don’t WHAT???

Don’t doubt! Probably ninety percent of unanswered prayer has its root in doubt and unbelief. Some people having a need think, I’ll throw a prayer out there, and who knows, maybe I’ll get an answer, maybe not. I’ve heard it said many times, “Well, you just never know what God’s going to do…He works in mysterious ways.”
Actually, that’s not the way it is at all. God works according to His Word, every time. That should not be so mysterious. It says in 1 John 5:14-15, And this is the confidence that we have in him, that, if we ask any thing according to his will, he heareth us: And if we know that he hear us, whatsoever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we desired of him.

THE SEED PLANTED

As always, the Lord has a word for us in due season.  Today, we will call that word, “The Seed Planted”.  We can look at this from more than one angle.  First I’d like to go to Genesis 15, where the Lord spoke with Abram; Gen 15:1-6After these things the word of the LORD came unto Abram in a vision, saying, Fear not, Abram: I am thy shield, and thy exceeding great reward.  And Abram said, Lord GOD, what wilt thou give me, seeing I go childless, and the steward of my house is this Eliezer of Damascus?  Continue Reading »

A BLESSING CALLED MUSTARD

From time to time the Lord gives me somewhat odd titles for what I write.  Or should I say HIS writings.  Nevertheless, as I was just waking up this morning, I knew what the subject would be called today.  And without further delay, let us explore “A BLESSING CALLED MUSTARD”.

Depending on what time you are reading this, you may be sitting down to enjoy a hamburger, and see this title and say, yes, mustard is good on a hamburger, so I guess mustard is a blessing.  But this isn’t about what you can put mustard on, actually.  No, it’s about if you’re going to be blessed or not.  Let me explain. WHEN YOU’VE DONE ALL

This week started off with the tires of our vehicles being slashed.  Seems a vandal in the area visited many people during that night, ruining several thousand dollars worth of tires.   And most of our tires were new or nearly new, and insurance didn’t cover it, resulting in expense for both the ministry and myself personally.  As you know, tires aren’t cheap.  I had every opportunity to fly off the handle, but somehow through it all, I kept my peace, though it cost me a day’s work changing tires on everything, and several trips into town to get replacement tires mounted.  When I was telling a friend about it, they said, It doesn’t do any good to tithe, because bad stuff still happens to Christians, even though the Bible says in Malachi 3 that God will rebuke the devourer from us, and He doesn’t always do it.

True, it does say that.  But that’s not the whole story. Continue Reading »
