GOD’S WORD IS NOT WRITTEN TO “OCCUPANT”

When you get your mail, and you have an envelope addressed to you personally, and another one addressed to “Occupant”, which one will you pay more attention to?  Obviously, the one addressed to “Occupant” will likely go into the trash can. Why? Because whoever sent the letter didn’t even go to the trouble to find out who you are, and they don’t care who you are either, for that matter, and whatever they are selling is for THEIR benefit, and not YOURS.  I don’t know about you, but I don’t even waste the time opening them, they go straight to the trash can. WHY DO WE DO WHAT WE DO?

It’s a well-known fact that people are creatures of habit.  We do things because that’s the way we’ve always done them.  Some people say they like change, but when it comes right down to it, they usually revert to doing what they’ve always done.  Have you ever asked yourself why you do the things you do?   Chances are you’re doing what you have been taught by others, rather than what you really would do if you had a choice.  But actually, if you think about it…..you DO have a choice, the question is:  what are you doing with it? IT ALL CLEANS UP

During the past week I’ve been working on our ministry’s motor home, having rebuilt the engine, and now working on the transaxle.  Let me say, you don’t know what dirty is until you’ve worked on a diesel vehicle. I mean, diesel grease is tenacious and if you get near it, it’s on you and doesn’t easily come off.  It gets into your skin and not much will remove it.   And every day working on it reminds me of what our Savior has done for us.
