UNTIL CHRIST BE FORMED IN YOU

Certainly, all who name Christ Jesus as Lord and Savior want to become like Him. The problem seems to be “the process” we all go through as the heavenly Father molds and forms us into the very image of Christ. It is written in Philippians 2:13-15,
13 For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure.
14 Do all things without murmurings and disputings:
15 That ye may be blameless and harmless, the sons of God, without rebuke, in the midst of a crooked and perverse nation, among whom ye shine as lights in the world.

FREEDOM ISN’T FREE

During the month of July, the United States celebrates FREEDOM.  But before you can celebrate “freedom”, you must first know what it is.  Freedom is defined as: “the power to act, speak, or think as one wants without hindrance or restraint, the absence of subjection, and the state of not being imprisoned or enslaved.” Well, everyone wants to be free, right?  But whose freedoms are being taken away by us exercising OUR freedom? WHAT DO YOU WANT FROM GOD?

It amazes me sometimes how people say they want the LORD to do this or that for them, yet their words come against the very things they want.  For example, someone asks for me to pray that God blesses their finances, so I do, but they turn around and tell me how poor they are and how everything seems to go wrong for them.  What’s wrong with that picture?  I’ll tell you: they pray, then don’t see it as DONE!  Why pray if you don’t believe it’s done, even as you have asked?  So this is what I’d like to talk about today. GREATER WORKS

Why is it that many Christians are satisfied with the humdrum, when we could be living in the supernatural, not just once in a while, but every day?  God did not redeem us from the lost and unsaved for us to remain the old creature, but He intends us to be a NEW creation in Christ Jesus!  He intends for us to be world-changers and overcomers, not “victims” or “losers”. IS THAT THE THANKS GOD GETS?

How many times does God have to allow people to suffer until they finally learn to do things His way?  Now, God doesn’t like to see people suffer, but they only suffer because of their own disobedience.  And if God never let us taste the consequences of our actions, we would be even more of a mess than we already are. HOW DO YOU SEE IT?

God says we need to have a vision for our life, and where there is no vision, the people perish.  Well, I have a vision; and that is that everyone I minister healing to is healed.  Are all of them healed?  No, because they have no vision to see themselves healed.  When the Lord Jesus walked through villages teaching the multitudes, He healed the sick, but yet in his own village, He could do no mighty work there.  Let’s read about it and why it was that way. GOD WANTS YOU BLESSED

If you had a choice, would you rather be blessed or cursed, well or sick, in lack, have plenty?  Did you know God already made HIS choice about the matter?  He gave us all free will to choose how we live.  And before you say, “Well, I live in a poor area, and that’s why I can’t get ahead”, know this: God can bless you no matter where you live, but you have to listen to Him when He tells you what to do.  Or, of course, we can ignore God’s leading and do our own thing and feel sorry for ourselves when things don’t turn out right. And sadly, some people blame God for their circumstances when it isn’t His fault at all.  In fact, He provided us with every opportunity to be blessed, and spells out to us in His Word exactly how to be blessed in every area of our lives.  What are we going to do about it?  Now, THAT is the question.

ALL THE LAW

When it’s time to write my articles, I always ask the LORD what He wants me to write about, and He always answers quickly.  Today He said Galatians 5:14, so here it is: For all the law is fulfilled in one word, even in this; Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. Immediately, that made me think of what the Lord Jesus said in Mark 12:29-31, from whence Paul wrote Galatians 5:14.  Of course, Paul was writing to people who already loved the LORD, though he didn’t mention first loving God with all your heart, which went without saying here. Paul was teaching believers about how to have the fruits of the Holy Spirit working in them. Continue Reading »
