Last night as I was brushing my teeth, preparing to go to bed, the Word of the LORD came to me, saying quote, “The land is before thee.” I’ve heard the voice of the LORD often enough that I knew without a doubt that it was Him. Usually when He does this, it’s for my weekly newsletter. But after looking for those EXACT words, I found them in only one place in the whole Bible, in Jeremiah 40:4 which says, 4 And now, behold, I loose thee this day from the chains which were upon thine hand. If it seem good unto thee to come with me into Babylon, come; and I will look well unto thee: but if it seem ill unto thee to come with me into Babylon, forbear: behold, all the land is before thee: whither it seemeth good and convenient for thee to go, thither go.

Now, the question is, is this a personal prophecy to ME, or is it for someone else? The only way to know is for me to put it out there, and if it bears witness to what the LORD has been speaking to someone, well and good. And if not, it must be for me. Due to what has been happening in my ministry since November 22nd, I know the LORD is up to something with me, as I received over 100 new prayer requests in just that day, with over 50 new subscribers, which has never happened before. I’ve been working to answer those prayer requests diligently, though right now they’re coming in faster than I can write letters back praying with them.

But back to that word: I travel to minister, as you may know, but the last few months I’ve been pretty local ministering. Now I feel a new season starting in my ministry, perhaps back on the road extensively again. And that’s ok, the motorhome is packed and ready to go wherever. The LORD is saying to me personally in that word, THE LAND IS BEFORE YOU, GO WHERE YOU WILL. And if I go, you can bet someone is getting saved, and someone is getting healed, because He never sends me anywhere without performing His Word.

However, I feel in my Spirit, someone out there has been told by the LORD repeatedly, GO PREACH THE GOSPEL, and you haven’t gone because you don’t know where to go specifically, and you’re reluctant to just “GO”. Maybe you’re a bit AFRAID to “GO”. You know who you are, I don’t. Maybe you’re waiting on “provision first”. Let me tell you a thing or two that I’ve learned in 26 years of ministry: God always gives provision “as you go”, not “before you go”. He pays for that which He sends, and I’ve NEVER failed to have provision wherever He has sent me. Notice the first part of Jeremiah 40:4, “And now, behold, I loose thee this day from the chains which were upon thine hand.”

Many times, the “chains upon our hands” are from our fear to obey the LORD, thinking, “what if I fail?” Well, it isn’t about YOU, it’s about HIM. The worst failure you could ever have is failing to GO when the LORD tells you GO! Fear keeps a lot of people out of the perfect will of God, and that fear ends up keeping someone else in their bondage or sickness. Just like right after when Paul met Jesus on the road to Damascus, and Paul was blinded, the LORD told Ananias to go lay hands on Paul and heal him, Ananias said this, in Acts 9:8-18,

8 And Saul arose from the earth; and when his eyes were opened, he saw no man: but they led him by the hand, and brought him into Damascus.
9 And he was three days without sight, and neither did eat nor drink.
10 And there was a certain disciple at Damascus, named Ananias; and to him said the Lord in a vision, Ananias. And he said, Behold, I am here, Lord.
11 And the Lord said unto him, Arise, and go into the street which is called Straight, and enquire in the house of Judas for one called Saul, of Tarsus: for, behold, he prayeth,
12 And hath seen in a vision a man named Ananias coming in, and putting his hand on him, that he might receive his sight.
13 Then Ananias answered, Lord, I have heard by many of this man, how much evil he hath done to thy saints at Jerusalem:
14 And here he hath authority from the chief priests to bind all that call on thy name.
15 But the Lord said unto him, Go thy way: for he is a chosen vessel unto me, to bear my name before the Gentiles, and kings, and the children of Israel:
16 For I will shew him how great things he must suffer for my name’s sake.
17 And Ananias went his way, and entered into the house; and putting his hands on him said, Brother Saul, the Lord, even Jesus, that appeared unto thee in the way as thou camest, hath sent me, that thou mightest receive thy sight, and be filled with the Holy Ghost.
18 And immediately there fell from his eyes as it had been scales: and he received sight forthwith, and arose, and was baptized.

Well, we see here, because Ananias went when God said GO, in spite of his fears, the ministry of Paul was launched. And of course you know, Paul wrote much of the New Testament. And it took the obedience of Ananias to get the ball rolling. So you never know what God will accomplish through you when you yield to the Holy Spirit and GO, whether you fear to go or not. THE LAND IS BEFORE THEE!

One time I said to the LORD, “I don’t want to go North if perhaps you want me to go South, or go East, in case you want me to go West….” The LORD replied, “Just GO, and I will go with you!” And He always has, and blessed my way each time. And I’m ready to go wherever He sends me. Perhaps this is a word for you, too. We don’t need to go to Timbuktu to minister the Gospel, the whole land is before us, and there are lost and sick literally EVERYWHERE! JUST GO! THE LORD WILL GO WITH YOU!

You will never know the joy of the adventures of ministering for the LORD if you are afraid to step out of your comfort zone. THE LAND IS BEFORE THEE! GO FOR IT!
