The person who believes God always heals, and the person who believes God does not always heal are BOTH CORRECT!  Ok, now that I’ve opened a whole new can of worms, let us embark on our journey of exploration.
I’d like to use Mark 11:23-24 for the launching pad.  This is not “thus saith Jerry”, but rather, “thus saith THE LORD”.  Your opinion or mine is not important whatsoever. What God said, IS.

Mar 11:23  For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith.
Mar 11:24  Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them.
The first thing to point out is the word “whosoever”. That means ANYONE, including YOU!  “Whosoever shall say unto this mountain…..”  It does NOT say “whosoever shall complain about….. “, or “Whosoever shall THINK about…..”.  The Lord Jesus was very clear, and He didn’t stutter.  Moving on to the next part: “and shall not doubt in his heart….”   Aha!  Now I gotcha!  See, doubt keeps that which you hope to accomplish always just out of your reach.  You will forever be “turning over rocks” looking for the next thing you need to do, when all the time DOUBT is your culprit.

The next part says, “but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass…”  Let’s say you have a hill, not even a mountain, in your yard, and you want it on the other side of your yard instead of where it is, do YOU believe you can speak to it and it will move?  C’mon, faith people, be honest here, you may fool me, but you’re not fooling God.  OF COURSE NOT!  Soooooo, is that hill going anywhere?  No. Why?  Because the Lord Jesus said so, period, regardless of your “religion” or your “theory”, God’s word cannot be broken.

However, here’s the important part that sums it up, “he shall have whatsoever he saith.”   THAT, my friend is from the very mouth of God.  Think about it, he shall have whatsoever he saith.   What are YOU saying that you believe in your heart and doubt not?  You have it, you know, regardless of whether you think it is so, or not.  Again, WHY?  Because God said so.  Moving on to verse 24, which is totally self-explanitory,  Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them. I need not try to expound on that, the Lord Jesus said it as plainly as can be expressed.

There have been many people through the years who have told me, “I tried that, and it didn’t work for me.”  I pointed them back to verse 23 and tell them “YES IT DOES, you got exactly what said and what you believed in your heart and doubted not.” You see, the Lord Jesus gave away a secret that had been kept hidden from the foundation of the world.  Can you find it anywhere in the Old Testament?  No.  It was a secret to be revealed later, and it’s there for us to use.  I said, it’s there for US to USE!  But that verse can work FOR you, or AGAINST you.

Therefore, the person who believes God always heals, and the person who believes God does not always heal are both right, for what they say, and believe in their heart, and doubt not, both get it their way.  Is it correct to say God does not always heal?  That depends upon who you ask.  If you happen to believe God does not always heal, you are in a heap of trouble if you get cancer, in fact, you will most likely die from it, unless you can change what you believe.

Most everyone’s belief system is based on what they smell, taste, touch, hear or see, so therefore, their faith is limited by the natural realm, and the devil just eats that up!  On the other hand, MY faith is built on the Word of God, and NOT what I smell, touch, taste, hear or see.  So when you ask me if God always heals, MY answer is always YES, for the Word of God clearly shows the Lord Jesus healed ALL who came to Him, NEVER refusing to heal anyone for any reason.

Some of you out there have cancer, and you’re TRYING to receive your healing, TRYING to believe, and you’re stuck.  You can’t get beyond what you smell, touch, taste, hear or see.  You can’t get out of the physical realm and break into the spiritual realm.  That’s why I’m here, to help you.  I’ve been healed of terminal cancer with no treatments, except the Word of God, and I’m here to tell you, GOD CHANGES NOT!  I have nothing whatsoever against doctors, but show me in the Bible where the Lord Jesus ever asked Luke the Physician to use his doctor skills to help anyone.  The Lord Jesus did not travel with a medical staff, nor did He need one.  How did He heal the sick?  By His Word!

Can you grasp that?  In this day and age, medicine is so advanced, so advertised on every media, that few are being healed by the Word of God, because people’s faith is in doctors, and not in God.  TV ads are about medicine (and lawsuits against medicine).  When parents see their kids being kids, they give them a pill.  Then THEY take a pill to cope, and another pill to cope with the pill they just took, and it goes on and on. People eat more medicine than they do food, and they hope to be healthy?  Surely you jest….

There is only ONE way to health, and that is by Christ Jesus and His Word.  Here, let’s look at Psalm 107:20, what does it say?   He sent his word, and healed them, and delivered them from their destructions. Notice it does NOT say, He sent the doctor, and healed them, and delivered them from their destructions…..But today, we have gotten so far from the Word of God, it’s a wonder anyone is alive at all.  Remember how God has given us “free will”?  Well, He has, so we have this nasty habit of using free will to choose NOT what God has provided, but rather, what WE want to do.  And then we wonder why so many are dying of cancer and other diseases.  And we even have the crust to blame it on God and say “God does not always heal.”  That, to me, is blasphemy.  How can we blame God for our poor choices?  How can we take away one of His holy names of HEALER, just because we doubt, fear, and refuse to believe God’s Word and act upon it?

So, he who believes God does not always heal is absolutely correct, and if that person prays for someone to be healed, most likely they will NOT be, because again, what they believe and doubt not in their heart. That’s the reason when ministering to the sick, and others want to join in, I ask people, “When I lay hands on this person, do you believe they will be healed?” If they say, for example, “If it’s God’s will”, or anything other than YES!, they are NOT going to be praying with me, period, for I refuse to pray with unbelievers.  That’s harsh, maybe that makes you feel bad, but I don’t care.  I’m about healing, and I don’t want your unbelief stopping the Word of God from working.  You can get real religious and say, “ Come on now Jerry, do you really think my unbelief can stop God from healing if it’s His will?  Do you believe unbelief can actually stop God from having His way? YES, AND HERE’S THE PROOF!

Mark chapter six tells us this:
Mar 6:1  And he (Jesus) went out from thence, and came into his own country; and his disciples follow him.
Mar 6:2  And when the sabbath day was come, he began to teach in the synagogue: and many hearing him were astonished, saying, From whence hath this man these things? and what wisdom is this which is given unto him, that even such mighty works are wrought by his hands?
Mar 6:3  Is not this the carpenter, the son of Mary, the brother of James, and Joses, and of Juda, and Simon? and are not his sisters here with us? And they were offended at him.
Mar 6:4  But Jesus said unto them, A prophet is not without honour, but in his own country, and among his own kin, and in his own house.
Mar 6:5  And he could there do no mighty work, save that he laid his hands upon a few sick folk, and healed them.
Mar 6:6  And he marvelled because of their unbelief. And he went round about the villages, teaching.

You will notice verse 5 says He COULD there do no mighty work, not WOULD there do no mighty work .  He WOULD have healed them, but COULDN’T.  God was kept from healing by their unbelief and doubt.  And that same doubt and unbelief will keep YOU from being healed, not that it’s GOD’S will, because it isn’t.  It’s YOUR will, and God will not violate your will, even if it means He has to stand by and watch you die an early death.

Here is something Paul had to say about doubt in Romans 14:23-24: Rom 14:22  Hast thou faith? have it to thyself before God. Happy is he that condemneth not himself in that thing which he alloweth.
Rom 14:23  And he that doubteth is damned if he eat, because he eateth not of faith: for whatsoever is not of faith is sin.

We are not just talking about food here, but every aspect of your life.  Doubting God’s Word will kill you.  Hosea 4:6 says, My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee, that thou shalt be no priest to me: seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God, I will also forget thy children.

The “lack of knowledge” here is people absolutely knowing God cannot lie, and obeying His Word.  Because they reject that knowledge, He will also reject them, and let them suffer and die in their unbelief.  It really isn’t His will that they be destroyed, but then again, He will not violate their free will, or YOURS.  If you want to be healed, line your belief up with God’s Word and start speaking it to your “mountain”, whatever that may be.  Give doubt the boot and don’t give it any place in your life.  What did Jesus say?  What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them.

Notice there is a PERIOD at the end of His sentence.  That means, that’s all there is to it.
